Hello Everyone.

I have read many posts.

I am also a die hard fan of CB like all of u.

But if u come to think of it , the creatives are doing a gr8 job👍🏼.

The USP of this show is RaDev.

The viewers will stick to the show and keep watching till the RaDev union.

Guys, the show is just 4 months old.

Once the RaDev union either the show will end or the creatives have to come up with some equally intriguing plot to keep the TRPs high.😕

Just all u CB fans out ther just ask ur self a question.

Will u keep watching CB after the RaDev union?😲

Wont u feel that the plot has to have some thing that will keep us glued to the show.

I am afraid the the creatives do not have any thing after RaDev union that will keep the TRPs so high.

So they are milking the USP of keeping RaDev seperate.😃

I have also read that many are cursing the characters, specially RaDev, amma, Devki , Shastri ji, etc.😕

But just look from their point of view. 😊

We as viewers know a lot that the Characters do not.😆

There are following things that we know and characters do not know.

1] RaDev are married- Only Radhika, Vishakha , Nandu, amma & Devki know.

2] Dev loves Radhika- only Dev , Radhika & now Birju know. (Dev's mon knows that he is in love with some one else but she does not know that the girl is Rad.)

3] Vishakha wants to be a heroien - Only Vishakha & Purab know.

4] Dev is hurting badly - Dev , Radhika & Birju know.

5] Rads is hurting suffering- Only Radhika, Birju & Kanha know.

6] Rads is not married to any body- Dev does not know this. he thinks that Rads is marrie to some one.

7] Rad really came to console Dev- he thinks it was an illusion

now wiith such little information the way the characters are behaving is perfectly justified.

1] Dev

He does not know that he is not married to Vish but to Rads. If he knew the truth ... he may be jumping with joy.

His decision of accepting Vish is just as a part of his duty. He will never love her. But he wants to fullfill his duty of a husband. That includes giving physical love to your wife. He would have done it even if it would have been any body instead of Vish. He wants to give a waaris to his family. Once he has decided to forget his love & assume his responsibility, what choice has he got.

2] Radhika

She is indebt towards the Shastri family for bringing her in. Her nature is to sacrifice. One can not behave against ones true nature.

How can she fight for her right of being a wife. What proof she has?

Who will believe her? The rishta came for Vis. The Purohit family has seen Vish as there bahu before the marriage. All the rasme took place with Vish except the wedding . But no one knows this. Radhika does not know that there was one photo taken in the wedding which Vish has hidden away.

She also does not know how her father and in-laws will react to the truth. She does not want to ruin lives of so many people.

3] Amma

Amma has never hidden the fact that she hates Rads. So I find her behaviour extremely justified. I am not saying whether it is right or wron. But it is justified. She has nevr made tow ways about the way she feels about Rads. She is an orthodox lady and has some beliefs. The fact that she allowed to bring Rads home surprises me. On top of it she loves Vish a lot and wants best for her.

3] Devki

She is worried about her familys name. The rishta came for Vish. (even if it was a misunderstanding)

All the rasme happened with Vish so she was a little bet hesitant to send Radhika. Even she did not know that Dev loved Radhika.

Imagine if Dev loved Vish & the marriage would have taken place with Rad due to some situation the way it took place now & Devki would have sent Radhika, the in-laws might have rejected the family

4] Shastri ji

Poor guy does not know that he has married off Rad & not Vish. He will be the one who will suffer the most.

5] We CB lovers

RaDev union will take place.

sooner or later. I predict later.

Vish will not like the responsibility of Purohit family & she wants to be an actress.

It is an Indian soap and tradition.

Kanha blessed the marriage.

RaDev love each other & are married.

The photo will prove that Radika is married to Dev.

But it will happen at the end

It was an interesting read and it makes sense! 😊

All I am saying is that they need to make it interesting and keep the pace up even if they are dragging the meeting otherwise viewers will/have lose/lost interest! They cannot show them dreaming tooo much, they have to move the story...in such a way that they keep the audience motivated to watch the show and they CANNOT make Dev and Vish a real couple-no matter what Dev says, if that happens than it will definately ruin the show 😭

Kanha has blessed their wedding so they have to get together eventually, meanwhile noone else can take their place! Keshav cannot replace Dev and Vish cannot replace Rads!

True... Good analysis of all the characters. U r right... it will be Shashtri ji who will be totally shocked when he learns the truth, especially when he sees his own wife lied to him.

One more person knows Vishaka's ambitions-- Radhika.

All CB fans out there... be patient. This is a daily soap. They have to show something for 20-25 min every day, for 5 days a wk. Agreed they are dragging it a bit. But this serial is based entirely on one thing only- that Dev loved Radhika, married Radhika, but does not know it! So till he comes to know that, the serial has to go on.

Now the serial has reached an interesting point.... let us see what happens. Don't give up so soon. There are so many serials out there that don't even have this much of a plot. Choti Bahu is much better.

Really nice topic to discuss, i liked your views BUT there is a limit to everything, I mean how much could they drag on the re-union, at least there should be some new twists...so far its either dream sequence or that wicked amma....creatives really need to be creative...the base of this story is wonderful but they need to materialize on it...I mean, after 4 months of CB still dev doesn't know that Rads is vishakha's sister...how annoying, how unrealistic...come on we need to see something better, not the usual rat n rat race...stop torturing the viewers!!!

No I am not one of the creatives:) Wish I were... I wouldn't have dragged the serial like this. I am another helpless viewer like everyone on this forum. Just hanging on because Choti Bahu seems interesting, has a plot (however thin) and has good cast.

i understand your point, but they are just stretching the same story too long. they could atleast add something new to the story, even if it means that radev don't meet. but something new twist is needed.

Yes good analysis. Can we brainstorm on what possible twists can make it interesting? Here are some suggestions. Please add.

1. Dev hears Vishakha talk to Purab over phone and learns that something fishy is going on. He tries to find out what the truth is.

2. Dadi and Vaishali say that they want to go to Vrindavan and spend some time there. There Radhika visits them regularly and they get to know her better and start liking her a lot. There can be some scenes where Dev comes to visit them. He comes close to meeting Radhika and learning the truth about her...but that can wait.

3. Keshav and Radhika become good friends and some nice episodes of them (I want to see more of Keshav 😳). Also Radhika is shown a little more happy in his company

I 'm 100% agree with u. They should run parallel track along with Radev&Vishakha's track to make it more interesting.we love to see Radhika smiling.

Wonderful analysis and i agree with you. Thats the reason i am still watching the show because everything is consistent and i am not breaking my head at the character's unexpected behaviors. Ya its slow but it makes sense.. the way the characters are.

Annie i like your ideas. Especially the one about Dev figuring out Vishakha's intentions. That should be interesting. I'd love that.
