16th March - Written Update!!

Amma is pacing back and forth in her house saying all boundaries have been broken today as well as her patience and let Radhika come because there will be a decision made today. Devki and Radhika walk in at that moment. Amma is giving Radhika evil looks and says are you happy now? GOD knows what all my "lalla" had to hear because of you! She says because of you he was ready to leave Brij but before leaving Brij I will drown you in the Yamuna river, remember that. Devki says stop it Amma ji and Amma says don't you speak in between because it is because of you all this is happening. She says go ahead and keep saying bitiya bitiya you will get punishment for your behavior won't you? Devki says what are you saying Amma ji? Amma says does it make a difference to you what I say? Amma says now without speaking I will get what I want done. Until Radhika doesn't wipe off the sindoor from her maang, I will not speak a word and follow "maun vrat" (Radhika never wipe off that maang. Let the old hag be mum for the rest of her life!!) She says today either she stays or I. She tells Devki you have to decide today who love more, me or her sindoor. Devki says please let him come first and then we will talk about this. Amma says no, no one can stop me today. Either she wipes off her maang or I will follow maun vrat and she sits down on the floor with her finger on her mouth. (what is she a little kid?? Anyways, I say let the old hag be because staying mum is not injurious to health anyways, it's not like she can die from not speaking!!)

In Dev's house, Purohit ji is asking daadi how she is feeling now and she says what happened to me? I'm perfectly fine. Vishakha comes and joins them at the dining table. Daadi asks Purohit ji why he looks so weak and says you are the one who doesn't look alright. Vaishali as usual gives her "I'm so helpless I'm going to cry" look. Dev walks in talking on his phone screaming I don't care, it's been a week since my visa papers are ready and you are just saying it will be done tomorrow. Now I don't care what you can and can't do. Vaishali says this boy does not care about anyone except himself nowadays. Daadi says Vaishali why are you so angry with him wanting to go to America? If he wants to go and that's what makes him happy so be it. Our happiness lies in his happiness doesn't it? Vaishali nods and Vishakha gives a disgusted look. (😆) Dev walks over to the family and says hi to all. Deepika says hi hi devarji and he looks at her and says hi bhabhi. She says when you listen it seems like you are saying HAI but actually you are saying Namaste. Can you please teach me a few "English ways" before you go to America please? Deepika says because Arjun thinks I don't know any "angrezi" and I am a gawaar. Mrinali joins the rest of the family and says so what wrong has Arjun said? Daadi says bahu and Mrinali says what daadi if you call a person from the city "shehar waale" they don't feel bad and if you say gawar to a person from the gaon, have you given them a gaali? She asks Birju if he will stand here smiling or will get something for her to eat? Daadi says Birju bring Vivek also. Chacha comes and joins the family and asks what is there to eat? Purohit ji asks chacha where Arjun is and he says where will he be? He must be lying somewhere drunk. Chacha says for me having a son and not having a son is the same. Purohit ji says Dev have your tickets come? Dev says yes they will come tomorrow morning. Vishakha says oh GOD by tomorrow morning we will have the tickets too how do I stop going to America? She says now only babuji can do something, I will have to tell Dev to talk to him.

At the Shashtri house, Devki is trying to cajole Amma by saying don't do this, is this a way to solve a problem? Amma takes the finger off of her mouth (ah how soon she broke her "maun vrat") and says oh so now you and realizes she is talking so puts her finger on her mouth again and then starts talking again that you will teach me how problems are solved? My hair did not turn white in the sun. Devki says I am not saying that Amma ji, I am just saying that once he comes then'.Shashtri ji comes in the house at that time. He notices his mom on the floor and asks her why she's sitting there and what's happened? Devki tells him that she has a maun vrat because she says she will not talk until Radhika doesn't rub off her sindoor. Shashtri ji sits down and Amma turns away from him. He says this is good because anyways Amma need to keep vrats and if she keeps maun vrat then for a few days she will not speak hurtful words. He gets up and starts talking to Devki like nothing happened. (sorry I missed a line here I think he was saying something about going somewhere but I love how he's handling the situation major kudos to him 👏👏) He says Amma you like to be with a lot of people and talk about but now how will you Radhe Radhe. He goes to Devki again and says come on Devki hurry up and get ready. Devki walks away, Radhika looks at Amma.

In Dev's room, he is staring at his phone and Vishakha comes and asks who he is calling her parents? She says I know you don't want to tell them and you don't want to call them. She raises her voice and says the agent is doing his job but you, are you doing your job? She realizes what she is doing and softens up and says I mean, please you do your job and call my parents right now. Dev says okay and Vishakha starts to leave. Dev dials the phone and Amma goes to pick it up and remembers her maun vrat. She snaps her fingers at Radhika to pick up the phone.

Radhika answers the phone and Dev says hello, hello, hello. She says hello. He says it's Dev, she says Namaste. He asks how she is and she says she is fine. He says he wanted to talk to Shashtri ji and Vishakha looks at him so he says he wanted to talk to babuji and is he there? Radhika says Dev babu and stops and Amma is shocked. Amma tells her to hang up. He is asking again if babuji is there and Radhika says no. He asks about maa and Radhika says they have both gone out. He says okay when they come back tell them that Vishakha and I are going to America next week forever.
