The creatives do not read forum posts. They have better things to do. 😊
Perhaps the question to be asked is - If they meet, do they have a strong post-union plot to hold the audience captive? If the answer is yes, then they can meet on Monday. If no, then they have to aimlessly drag for a while.
Let us not forget that some of the greatest love stories ever written do not have a happy ending ... the hero and the heroine do not meet. And that fact alone makes the story a classic !!!
It might be more heart-breaking and memorable if they show that Dev and Radhika know the truth, accept it, but live their separate lives. That would be the test of true love. They know that they love each other and they were married, but upholding the family name and fulfilling family obligations prevent them from coming together.
These days Shastriji's character is turning out to be such that it will become unbearable to see him hurt if he learns the truth. Do we want a good man shamed because his mother, wife and daughter are selfish, greedy and manipulative?
A woman is not incomplete without a man. She is free to live life any way she wants. If they can **convincingly** show Radhika live the life of her choice and be contented, then that is fine. She can be a good role model for millions of (mostly rural) Indian women.
If keeping Dev and Radhika apart makes Radhika a stronger person and adds a meaningful dimension to the story, then I am sure the viewers will embrace that storyline.
But (unfortunately) they will meet for good ... because that decision will be dictated by public opinion and TRPs. So even if the director has an exceptional story in mind, his hands are tied ... 😊
