Written Update 18th Feb 2009

Vishaka is about to leave when Radhika stops her and hands her a glass of water. Vishaka tells her to keep it there, and she will have it later. Radhika asks her ' where are you going? Have you asked babuji? Vishaka retorts no! And you better not say anything either. I am going to meet Purab today. After so long, I've been given this opportunity. Radhika is perplexed and questions opportunity for what. Vishaka answers back you really don't get it, to become an actress, what else? Radhika is shocked. Vishaka turns to leave and says I will speak to you later. Radhika grabs her arm and the red parcel with the jewellery falls down. She says while leaning to get the parcel, Vishaka now that you are married, you have to give up the idea of becoming an actress. What will they think. Vishaka retorts if I am not worried about this, why should you? And you seem to care about everyone else, but what about me? She snatches the red parcel from Radhika. Radhika questions her. Vishaka panics for a minute but then comes up with the excuse that this is my audition tape and photographs. Radhika is puzzled ' audition? Vishaka says yes, remember the tapes where I taped myself saying movie dialogues. Radhika asks but at this time? Vishaka answers her that Purab is going to make her meet a great movie producer. Radhika replies but we are going to have lunch in half and hour. If babuji asks what will I tell him. Vishaka pouts and says all right then, I won't go! After a while, she says but I can go and meet Purab within half an hour, and if I don't make it in time, you will manage, after all you have become an expert in this. You help me every time, won't you help me this time too? With that Vishaka leaves.

Dev is sitting with a book open but is thinking of Radhika. He is trying to keep busy but remembers their moments again and again. Dadi comes there and says if you miss her so much, then go and meet my Choti Bahu. If you keep thinking, you will waste time. In my time, your dadaji used to come meet me secretly. Go! And meet her. Go and stop thinking! Listen! You remember you will have to tell me tonight what is bothering you. Dev says how can I forget, I am desperate to tell you. Birju comes there and beseeches him not to go. Dadi scolds Birju telling him not to stop him and that he is going to do something important.

Aama is reading the bhagavad gita. Shastriji comes there and asks her whether she had food yet. Aama doesn't reply and keeps reading. Shastriji calls for Devki and asks her to serve food, as he has to leave. Radhika is in the next room doing some chores. Shastiji asks for Vishaka, saying since she is here for only two days, let us talk while having food together. Radhika gets tensed. Devki comes into the girl's room looking for Vishaka. She tells Shastriji that she is not home. He gets annoyed and says God knows! When will she understand. If this continues I won't be face samdhiji. Aama comes to Vishaka's defence saying she must be around. Shastriji retorts she shouldn't leave without telling anyone where is going any more. Devki says perhaps she has told Radhika something, let me go and ask her. Shastiji acquiesces. Aama again says Vishaka is grown up. Shastriji retorts she is, but she is also married now. Aama says she must have gone to meet friends. Shastriji answers I understand, but she should have said something before leaving. Aama tries to pacify Shastriji. Devki asks Radhika for Vishaka's whereabouts, explaining that she is going get a scolding by their babuji today. Radhika is thinking before babuji gets more angry, I need to get Vishaka back home.

Purab is restless. Vishaka comes there. Purab jokes about her red parcel. Vishaka retorts there is everything in this, necklaces, earrings etc, and even a bal gopal which is in gold. She shows him the jewellery. Purab tells her soon, you will become a no.1 actress, and I soon will be no.1 secretary. Radhika is searching for Vishaka. She gives him everything and tells him to give this to the producer and that now the movie should start without delay. Radhika comes there and stops Vishaka.

Vishaka is shocked to see her there. Radhika takes the jewellery from Purab. She asks Vishaka what are you doing? These are your sasural's jewellery. Vishaka questions so what? Radhika tries to explain ' don't you get it? What will happen if you do that? Babuji will get so ashamed. Our reputation will be ruined. We won't be able to face anyone. Vishaka retorts when my dreams were being broken, did it bother anyone? When they don't care about me, then why should I? Look Radhika! I want to become an actress and I will. She snatches the red parcel from Radhika and gives it to Purab. She scolds him saying what are you still doing here. Take this and go give it to the movie producer. Radhika stops her again and give her an ultimatum that if you don't listen to me, then I will go and tell babuji everything myself. Vishaka is shocked. Vishaka tries to con Radhika, saying is this how you love me, you are ready to tell babuji, instead of helping me. Radhika retorts I do love you and this why I am stopping you. She turns to Purab and says do you want to go to jail for stealing these jewellery? Purab stutters and gives it to Radhika. She calls Vishaka to go.

Aama is still doing her jaap. Shastriji is waiting for Vishaka and is about to leave to look for her when they both come. He starts to question them where they were. Aama tries to pacify him. Vishaka retorts but I told Radhika I was going to meet a friend. Why did she not tell you anything? Aama on that pounces and starts her bakwaas. She says this Radhika is the root of all problem. Did you get happy seeing us tensed? Devki tells her stop, she will serve food now. All that matters is they came home safe.

Radhika and Vishaka are in their room. She gives back the jewellery. Vishaka is angry. Radhika asks her why are you doing this. You are now the Purohit's Choti Bahu. Your one mistake will ruin our reputation. You told us how they take great care of you. You shouldn't do anything that will turn them against you. At least think about your husband. Imagine how he will feel if the one he loves most ruin his family's reputation, his love... At this Vishaka gets angry, and says love!? Trust?! What are you talking about? Which husband are you talking about?! The one who till today hasn't accepted me as her wife, who hasn't even touched me, who probably doesn't want to keep me. Radhika is shocked. Do you know what happened during suhaag raat? He lifted the ghoonghat and asked who are you? Are you Vishaka? Shastriji ki beti. Despite knowing that I am Vishaka, his behaviour hasn't changed. Vishaka asks Radhika to go and to leave her alone. That she won't understand. She says I won't give up on my dreams, do you get it, not for someone who is not interested in me, nor loves me. Which husband are you talking of? Which? Radhika is sad, and leaves. She is recalling what she just said. She goes to her Kanha, saying this my fault. And I will have to help her. Until she gets her husband's love, she will be like this only. I will have to reunite them. And for that I will have to meet him, one last time.

Precap: Radhika and Dev are on the riverside. Dev is looking for her. Radhika seeing a reflection in the water jumps. (it is highly unlikely that it is Dev's reflection as he is on the other side or perhaps it is since there is no one else)
