Is the story of Chhoti Bahu not the story of modern times but of 18th century or early 19th century when the boy and girl were not allowed even to see each other before marriage? Plz..someone tell me Iam 😕 .
My mom was telling me that yrs.back a cousin of hers was married in the same fashion. His elders went to see the girl n the parents of the girl showed her from a distance and the marriage was finalised. The whole ceremony took place without any problem but then at the time of bidaai the groom asked my mom and other cousins (they all being younger to him) to go and see the bride and tell him how she looks. So my mom and other children went to see their new bhabhi and were 😲 to see that the girl couldn't bat one eyelid. So the boy was v. 😡 more 😡 than Dev and refused to take the girl with him. Finally he went for luv marriage and at present he is a 60yrs.😊 married old man.
