Salaam Namaste Friends

This week the game is going to be a bit more speical..
and how?

Since this week started off with Dev claiming his love for Radhika to be higher than anything else in this world, and also because the rest of the world and IF will be celebrating Valentines day this week..
Lets celebrate V-day our way.

The game is to write a scene born in your imagination
of how Radhika and Dev will meet
and
confess their love to each other
(minus the ghoongat😆)

It can be as long or as short as you like
be creative
you can be funny too😛

Note: keep IF code of conduct in mind. Keep your written material clean of abusive language and it should be appropriate for a 13 year old reader.

We thought of this game only because some memebers were seen requesting FFs.
hope you guys will all participate and give us all something to read.
So let your imaginations run..

I guess I'll give it a shot, here goes:

After Rads runs away from the mela, Dev tries to follow her but looses her yet again. He is looking for her and gets really frustrated. When looking here and there for her, he notices a post man and remembers when Radhika delivered the letter for Vish.

He hurries home and decides to confront Vish, but decides against it. He does not want anything to go wrong even if he has to wait a few days. He just wants to make sure that somehow he can get the information he needs. He goes directly to his room where Vishaka is sitting agitated about the talk that her saasu ma just gave her. He starts by telling her that he is very sorry for his behaviour of late and will change for the better. He tells her that I want to get to know more about you so we can understand eachother alittle bit. He sits next to her and starts to ask her questions.

First he asks her "Tumhe koi takleef to nahi hain na is ghar main", to which she replies saying "nahi." "So, growing up were you close to anyone besides your parents, like a best friend or something." Vish is ofcourse blown away by this and is not sure how to react and decides to play along. After all, she only has one goal and the longer she stays in this house the better she will be prepared to attain that goal and for that she will have to keep Dev interested in her.

She starts by naming Amma as she always supported her in whatever she did and she loves her for that. Dev starts to think of what more he can ask to get the answers that so desperately needs from her. He acts like something just occurred to him and says, "Hey, vo ladki kaun thi jo humari shaadi se pehle tumhara khat deliver karne aayi thi? Maine socha tumhari dost hogi, par vo shaadi main nazar nahi aayi thi." Vishaka ofcourse in a hurry to tell him the answer, blurts out saying "vo meri behen thi, Radhika." As soon as she says this, Dev's grandmother comes and tells Vish to come with her, eager for more gifts, Vishaka quickly goes to her leaving Dev to think about this new information. Dev is ofcourse very thankful that he does not have to just get up and leave to go look for Radhika.

While this is going on at Dev's house, something ugly happens between Amma and Rads again and she is punished to go to the well and do something stupid as punishment, like always (Damn that Amma). Dev goes up to the house and because Rads is lost in her thoughts of Dev and thinking of all the RaDev moments, so she does not notice when he comes from behind and calls her Radhika. She turns around and is startled to see this and ofcourse she has nowhere to run now and has to face what is staring her in the eyes.

This is my very first time doing this, hope you guys will like what I wrote.

👏 Thanx so much for starting it. Its brilliant. I especially like the fact that Rads has nowhere to run🤣 and Dev grilling Vish for information...why doesn't the Dev in the show have that much brains to look at all the clues. And my favorite part...that Dev calls her by her name...😛 In yesterday's epi when Dev was saying how he wants to hear his name from her lips i was rolling my eyes thinking when i'll hear him call her by her real name.😆 It was very sweet hun, i loved it and had fun reading it. Thanx again for being the first one.

Your story is superb. So romantic, yet so simple. Perhaps you can apply for the position of script writer in the C-B creative team. They need creative writers like you ...

Dev comes home and starts dreaming about Rads & his meeting with her tomorrow. Then he remembers the "anghoothi" that he was going to give his "dream girl" on the wedding night.

He thinks of gifting it to Rads. He also sees that Vishakha due to her 'bhoolne ki bimari' , does not have the anguthi on. So he goes to the bed room and searches it at various places. He opens the cupboard & looks for it there. He finds the jewellary box kept behind the pile of saris. He opens the jewellary box & finds the anguthi there. Walla - there is a secret compartment to the jewellary box. He opens it & finds the photograph of "Radhika's shadow in the kumkum ka pani clicked on the wedding nite" that Vishakha had stollen from the pile of photographs.

He remembers the wedding & the meeting with the dulhan which he had demanded by intrrupting the wedding. His gut feeling tells him that he is married to Radhika. Now his task is to get the truth out from Vishakha.

So he goes to Vaishali & shows her the photo of Radhika he found in the secret compartment of the jewellary box & convinces Vaishali that he might have got married to Radhika only & not Vishakha. He asks her to help him & narrates the conversation between him and the dulhan when he intruppted the wedding to talk to the dulhan. He asks her to help him by askiing Vishakha the details of the conversation and comparing them .Vaishali agrees reluctantly [hoping that Vishakha tells the incedent accurately].

Vaishali goes to Vishakah's room & casually asks about the incedent. Dev is also listening from the back drop. Vishakha faulters & can not narrate the incedent. Vaishali is confused. She also shows her Rads photograph and questions her about it. Vishakha breaks doen & tells the truth.Vaishali is shocked & Dev is elated to know that his "dream girl" is his wife & the "choti bahu " of Purohit family.

Then he goes to meet Rads. He some how knoes that she is in the mandir & find her there.

She is praying to kanha . He goes and applies sindoor to her. She opens her eyes & is surprisd to see Dev standing there smilling at her.

Thank you simi and jinc for such nice things 😃. This encouraged me to write some more. I have been thinking of a concept for a brand new serial. It would probably be more intelligent than the crap some of these creatives are coming up with 🤢. I'm not being egoistic by saying that it will be better, that is something only the viewers can decide, but the characters will at least have half a brain compared to no brains as depicted in most of these serials 😡. Hey aprilsunrise LOVED your story, it is so much better than mine. Mine seems too simple and yours is more elaborate and creative. 👏👏👏. Just curious, how would you continue yours?

@aprilsunrise: thats a full proof plan!!!😆 Nice.. that way its not just them meeitng the truth will be out for all to see. Very nice. If the characters had that kind of brain and worked out their problems like that the show would end soon no.😆 unless you want to tell us all how RaDev lives will be after the truth is out..
I wonder whatever happened to that pic of Radhika's i hope its somewhere in the house and Vish was forgetful enough not to destroy it.

April, this is incredible. Is this the real story? I hope it is. As I was reading your write-up, it felt
as if I was watching a C-B episode. I had envisioned the same thing, that Dev would unravel
the mystery of his marriage just as you have described. You are so talented. Perfect !!!

Ashuzee, you are welcome. Your story may be simpler, but it takes a lot of talent to say something complex in simple words. And you are able to do that.

Great Scenarios!!! 👏👏👏 I wish something like this happened in the show... but the show creatives likes to torture us with the slow pace in the show!! a great attempt writers..... I tried to write one too but couldn't, I can never start anything from the middle
