I was wondering why I did not see you on EBP forum too much. I know you are feeling upset. It is natural as everyone in this forum was so attached to Dev & Radhika as a couple. During CB1, so many fans used to speculate if Avinash and Rubina were also a real life couple. Then they were ecstatic when it happened. So now Avinash/Rubina has in some sense become synonymous with innocent characters of Dev/Radhika where the relationship between them feels as soul mate type as it was in the show. Fans also expect them to have the same personality too as that of Dev/Radhika.
Avinash/Rubina are not Dev/Radhika the characters. From what I have seen of them in interviews, they seem like nice people. I don't know if they are still together or not. But that should be kept separate from their professional lives. Remember these two met when they were very young. Sometimes people who meet at that age still remain together for a long time (or ever) and sometimes down the road, they find they are incompatible and part ways.
Don't let that affect your life. Think of as individual people whom you like as actors. We all have grown attached to them in some way or another as we have participated in forums related to their shows for so many years. So we want to see them make a success of their careers. Rubina got more opportunities than Avinash in some sense after the closing of CB2. But unfortunately, the role on which she had counted a lot (Divya's) did not work out. She is doing a cameo of Sita, but it does not mean that this role will not bring her good roles in future or this is the end of her career.
Look at Avinash. He did TMLS after CB2 where he was marginalized for more than six months. Then he did not come for a long time. Then even after he signed a show, it took the show 8 months before it got a time slot and everything caused controversy about that show. But see how it is getting more and more fans each day (the forum is a good indicator of popularity of a show). His show may not get a huge TRP, but it is evident that he would get more opportunities after this.
Similarly, PV2 is not the end of road for Ruby. Sometimes such experiences are good learning experiences that a PH (that is at the top for the moment) may not be best. Showbiz is very competitive. She already has two successful shows - CB1 and CB2 and it is not always easy to replicate that success. But she is still getting good offers; PV2 was a full fledged role and it was PH that screwed up both her role and the show. Look at the crap they are showing right now. They tried so many gimmicks in last 2 months to make it a success and nothing happened. Now they are bringing back Divya, but the show is so screwed up that I don't think anything else will make a big difference. Ruby made a wise decision to quit the show. I am sure after her Sita role, she will get more opportunities.
As far as the personal life is concerned, lets leave it to Avinash and Rubina to do what they want to do. It is their life and they know the best. Even if they are not together, this does not make one or both of them a bad person. Lets have good memories of Dev/Radhika who will always be an eternal couple and soul mates.
I will give you a personal example. Once I had introduced two of my friends to each other in one of my parties in college. They started dating and I somehow felt a personal attachment to that couple because I had introduced them. After few months, the guy broke up with my friend. I really felt for a while and it was hard for me to see him with somebody else as it felt like a betrayal to me. But after a while, I started to accept them as individual people whose relationship did not work out. Then it was ok to deal with them on an individual level and everything was fine. I remained friends with both of them even though we never talked about the other person.
So come to the EBP forum and participate. It is fun analyzing the show and characters. I did see India Forum segment and it was all fine. Avinash is excited about his show and that's what he talked about. To me Avinash seems more of private person who only interacts with fans when there is something about the show. Even in CB days, he used to do that. Probably Rubina is more extrovert who can talk about her personal life. Probably it was easier for him to talk about Rubina when they were in one show because again everything was mixed up. Now he is in another show with a different person. So because the channel/PH wants to keep that couple as special in fans' mind, they want actors to avoid talking about their partners.
That could be one of the reasons why Avi is keeping his personal life separate. Regardless of his reasons, don't take it to heart. Come to the EBP forum and you will feel better when you interact with old friends.
