The next VM on CB1 is based on the song "Woh Bhuli Daastan" from the movie 'Sanjog". I wanted to use ashram scenes for this song. But did not find all the scenes I wanted. So did use another episode from the same track to complete the song. This VM got a copyright notice one time and so hopefully this time, it would work.

I have titled it "To Memory". Two poems related to this title are as follows:

Memory, hither come

BY WILLIAM BLAKE
Memory, hither come,
And tune your merry notes;
And, while upon the wind,
Your music floats,
I'll pore upon the stream,
Where sighing lovers dream,
And fish for fancies as they pass
Within the watery glass.

I'll drink of the clear stream,
And hear the linnet's song;
And there I'll lie and dream
The day along:
And, when night comes, I'll go
To places fit for woe,
Walking along the darken'd valley,
With silent Melancholy.

To Memory

By Mary Elizabeth Coleridge

Strange Power, I know not what thou art,
Murderer or mistress of my heart.
I know I'd rather meet the blow
Of my most unrelenting foe
Than live---as now I live---to be
Slain twenty times a day by thee.

Yet, when I would command thee hence,
Thou mockest at the vain pretence,
Murmuring in mine ear a song
Once loved, alas! forgotten long;
And on my brow I feel a kiss
That I would rather die than miss.

Chalhov,

Thanks. I hated the burning track. But I did like the SR scene especially that of Dev decorating her in flowers. The difference between CB1 and CB2 was that Dev and Radhika's characterization was kept consistent for the most part of the show.

i think the cocept of cb2 was rushed i remember Avinash saying on sbb or sbs show that so many times the cast ane crew had to wait around for the script to come to the set thatshowed they were writing day by day not really having a story the way dev was dumbed down and
that radha rani track 😲

This next VM was finished yesterday as I started making it couple of days ago to divert my mind. I haven't been in a mood to make any new VMs. These last few days I was only consumed with news of that courageous girl "Damini" (name given by protesters). Even though I tried to make one couple of days ago, I gave up pretty soon because I couldn't concentrate. But once the news of her death came out yesterday night, I decided to finish it because I wanted to create something to divert my mind of all the ugliness that is prevalent today in the world.

This VM is made on CB1 episodes and is based on the song "Pyar Diwana hota hai" from the movie "Kati Patang". I have titled it "Fly Away" as it represents a world where there is beauty, love and freedom.

This title came to my mind because I prefer to think that "Damini" has finally flown away to a place where there is beauty and freedom. Rest in Peace - Courageous Damini.

Initially, I thought of a title "Birds of Passage" by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. This poem is about birds who migrate. Few lines of the poem are:

This is the cry
Of souls, that high
On toiling, beating pinions, fly,
Seeking a warmer clime.

But then I decided to use the title from a song by Lenny Kravitz; lyrics of the song are as follows.

"Fly Away" (Lenny Kravitz)

I wish that I could fly
Into the sky
So very high
Just like a dragonfly

I'd fly above the trees
Over the seas in all degrees
To anywhere I please

Oh I want to get away
I want to fly away

Let's go and see the stars
The milky way or even Mars
Where it could just be ours

Let's fade into the sun
Let your spirit fly
Where we are one
Just for a little fun

I want to get away
I want to fly away

Following is the VM "Fly Away".

Hi Angie. Hope that you are enjoying Lohri. After a long time I am back in your thread. Liked your VM. The scene that you chose to start your VM with is one of my fav ones in CB. Dev was very cute in that scene but what I liked more i it is the growth in Radhika that has been depicted in this scene...she has gained enough self confidence to take a bit of the halwa from Dev's bowl without any hesitation and with full right. She did not ask him before eating from his bowl. That for a person like Radhika was a big step. Usually people only do this when one is comfortable and thinks of the pther person as his or her own.

This song "O Saiyaan" from the movie "Agneepath" suited Dev and Radhika perfectly during one of the tracks. This is after the burning track when Dev shows Radhika his unconditional love and brings back her confidence.

I have titled this VM "Beloved" using the title from a poem by Elizabeth Barrett Browning. This is also a title of a famous book by American author Toni Morrison. But the poem by Browning suits the theme of the VM, lyrics of the song and Radhika of CB1. Here the poem talks about despair until her beloved came and brought joy in her life.

Following is the poem by Elizabeth Barrett Browning
A heavy heart, Belovd, have I v borne
Elizabeth Barrett Browning (Sonnet 25)
A heavy heart, Belovd, have I borne
From year to year until I saw thy face,

And sorrow after sorrow took the place
Of all those natural joys as lightly worn
As the stringed pearls, each lifted in its turn
By a beating heart at dance-time. Hopes apace
Were changed to long despairs, till God's own grace
Could scarcely lift above the world forlorn
My heavy heart. Then thou didst bid me bring
And let it drop adown thy calmly great
Deep being! Fast it sinketh, as a thing
Which its own nature doth precipitate,
Which thine doth close above it, mediating
Betwixt the stars and the unaccomplished fate.

Following is the VM "Beloved".

hello Angie.happy new year! its always a pleasure to come on this thread.i especialy liked ur "beloved" vm it was gorgeous. Dont know if others agree but radev love story in cb1 is epic.they both spoke their own language with their innocent eyes.they turned even the ice cold hearts into romantic. miss those times when i was in class and missed cb epis but always called my aunt to tell me what happened.did dev saw radhs face yet!? :)) but always watched the repeat..good all times.
now i am happy to hear that AVI is comming back.les hope its soon. :)
