Rubina was famous for her debut role as Radhika in Chotibahu.
She was from Himachal Pradesh and was banged up with awards like Miss.Shimla.
In an unexpected audition done by her she was selected as female lead for Chotibahu.

Avinash Sachdev, Mr. Baroda tag holder, got hold of his first lead role as "Dev Purohit" in the show. Whereas Rubina Dilaik, who hailed from the northern side of India and was a Miss. Shimla tag holder, got casted opposite him in the role of "Radhika Shastri". While Rubina was a sophisticated and urbane chick, Avinash was a boyish with "in your face" attitude. Different as chalk and cheese! Predictably, they didn't get along with each other at all!
But who knows that these two will become a good lovely couple later.
Choti bahu was a lovetsory of a U.S retruned rich guy Dev and a village girl Radhika.
Dev fall in Love in very first sight of Radhika.Radhika too like him but keep silent because of her obligations. Destiny brought them together and made them tied in a sacred relation ship of marriage.
The very on-screen chemistry of Radev grabbed the eyes of many viewers including all ages.
But Avi and Rubi who first misunderstood the other, later liked each other and very soon a very cute relation of Love blossomed between them.
The result is what we see today a very bubbly and romantic couple Avina ,
who sizzles heart of many viewers with their wonderful online chemistry as Radev.
Three years completed but still they add one or other new viewer each and every day, not three years even for ten eyars also we people can't get bored off them.
