Mistis thoughts 13th december 2011

Just a short one today because swamped with work.

1) Dev in his scene with Radhika-the vulnerable and scared Dev who is now terrified that he will lose Radhika again...he is clutching on to anything and everything to reassure himself that Radhika will not leave him again or will not be taken away again..he is trying to pacify himself by saying that love conquers all fears and also gifting her bangles so that he can hear her presence all around him. I don't know what fears he is talking about here..just losing her fear or the fear that he has behaved badly with her and have not trusted her even though he knew that she did not harm Barkha before and her love will make her forgive him? She will understand from where he is coming from? That's a very self centered view but Dev has been self centered when Radhika is concerned. Then later on he tells Barkha that he is going to get what his heart desires and he wants both of them to be friends...so all these problems will stop and he can go back into his bubble where everything is ok.😳.. This to me just shows that he is following his conscience because he is scared of loosing Radhika, and there has not been any other realization that he was wrong for not following the truth. But Radhika/Kanha saying that Dev has so much love in him towards Radhika🤔 ...so he does not want to play with Dev but what about real Radhika...her love was selfless? So why was no consideration shown for her Kanha?🤔...Anyway liked Devs fear and his vulnerability and also Avinash's projection of it.

2) Virat's scene where he looks down when that man tells him that being the eldest son of RP family why is he working here...don't know whether it is guilt or whether it is embarrassment not out of guilt but due to the fact that he has to do this work even though he comes from the Rajpurohit family. The first will have some sort of realization, while the latter will have resentment. Found Viraat interesting here also foundhim interesting when he stops himself from thrwing the phone in anger.

3) Kanha has acknowledged that there is a population explosion in the kaliyug...and because of that sinners should not be punished but their way of thinking should be changed...and in the other yugs since the number of people were less hence they were punished by even death? No wonder the number of people in the other yugs were less..because if kanha went on punishing people in the other yugs by death, the number will be less na..and if in kaliyug kanha goes on forgivinng people and changing their mindset then the number of people will be more na..because kanha is not punishing them with death...so who is responsible for the population explosion in kaliyug? 😉 Anyway I can't understand was it necessary to give this relationship between population increase and changing the mentality of people dialogue? So what happened to the paap ka ghara...I have this image in my mind..that water from municipality tap is falling drip drip drip in a ghara and then suddenly the owner of the ghara comes and takes away the ghara...because the ghara has place in Mahabharat but not in Ramayan.😉..oh the owner of the ghara are the creatives (channel and PH). So Barkha's mindset will be changed slowly so that she can continue having a place in this script, whereas punishment with death meant her removal from the script?

4) Now Barkha's dialogue that she has done bad things but she has brought Dev and Radhika together...now why am I having a feeling that the same sentence will be shown sometime later on as Barkha's forgiveness by Dev and or Radhika...and most probably in this way the creatives will justify their inclusion of Barkha as one of the main characters in this script. 😉

I think Barkha is here to stay. The actress playing the role of Bh was given an acting award so maybe she won't leave the show and will be given more screen space and good scenes much to the detriment of the main leads RaDev .And hold your breath I'm afraid she might even snatch the title Choti Bahu from Radhika (acc. to me only hopefully I'm wrong)

Misti, the above star represents all the gaalis I can think in various languages. (just out of curiosity how many languages are there?)They are for CVs who gave us today's episode. It was so intolerable that I could hardly even skim it.

1. Kanha's lines about reforming sinners and not killing them in Kalyug as opposed to other yugs. Shouldn't it be other way around. There are over 6 billion people on earth today and eliminating sinners would only help the environment. Also isn't Kalyug the worst yug of all yugs? That whole link between size of population and reforming sinners is still making me scratch my head...because whatever way I try thinking I still cannot find a link. Thats why I asked was it necessary to give this dialogue regarding yugs and how kanha punishes? They are trying to justify kanha's action...they gave the dialogue regarding punishing and reforming...and then reforming removes the root cause of evil(or something similar, can't remember the exact words)..they should have added repentence followed by reforming and should have left it at that. And why does one have to kill someone to punish...aren't the jails present for some reason? Mentally sick crimianals are sent to asylums...anyway most of the time kanha's dialogues do not make any sense to me.

Clearly, this is CVs preparing audience to see forgiveness of Barkha by real Radhika. All because they want their precious lead Barkha to stay in the show at any cost. So Kanha is now talking about changing Barkha and not punishing her for all her heinous crimes. Well by awarding Barkha as the main villian they are promoting her...if they are promoting her then why will she go?

2. Now it is clear why Barkha was shown to say that she is one who united Dev and Radhika. Dev remained quiet at that comment. During the marriage, Dev was telling Barkha that she can't come between him and Radhika. That he will only marry Radhika. So more than likely he would have used his childhood marriage as a last resort. But now they are making it in a way where Barkha would have been Dev's wife if not for her actions. Well they are the ones writing the scripts and writing the dialogues...so to me they are justifying the importance of Barkha.They might say that Dev said that he is waiting for Radhika to stretch her hands and since he was waiting he wouldn't have done anything else other than wait and then would have got married to Barkha...but who gave Dev those dialogues? The creatives...so they are justifying Barkha at the expense of Dev. Also yesterday Rohan's dialogues showed that Barkha was well meaning when she kidnapped him and tortured him as it was done for Radhika. Even if Barkha was "well meaning" it still does not change the fact that Barkha is psychotic and highly unstable..it also does not prove that she did it for Radhika, because then she would not have harmed Radhika the way she did..it shows she is loyal to her cause or what she wants...So that childhood story about stealing Radhika's credit was forgotten. Again it seems as if hte intention is to show that Barkha was not all that bad and hence can be changed. If the writers think that after showing Barkha emotionally abusing a sick man shows that a character is not that bad...even after attempting to murder another human being, the character is not that bad ...but someone who can be influenced then no wonder zee is in this condition.

3. Disgusting dialogues of Dai and Barkha involving R/K. Kanha is mocked so much where they are talking about having kids and other nonsense. S/R is discussed publicly in a conservative household without anybody putting a stop to it. How do these people know that SR between Dev and Radhika did not happen. Radhika fell asleep that time and hence it didn't happen. But have Dev and Radhika disclosed this to everyone? Also, Kanha is a God revered by so many. Why involve him in a cheap comedy. Kanha has been mocked in the show starting from Radhika entered as the false wife and Kanha giving her the permission...and then at almost all major twists Kanha has been mocked...and now Kanha is being used for TRPs.

4. Why is Kanha so attached to Dev that he gets upset thinking about Dev knowing the truth? Kanha is gloating that he made it possible for Radhika to get all her rights. But don't her rights include realization by her husband that he wronged her, public recognition of her as Dev's wife, getting RPtain title that was hers to begin with and the PF property? What rights he is talking about? She had those rights before her "death". Who knows maybe Barkha will give Radhika those rights.😉

What I liked in today's episode was couple of scenes:

1. Dev's show of vulnerability to Radhika. Probably deep down he knows that he has messed up and is fearful that he would lose Radhika. Just liked Avinash's expressions here. Yes

2. Virat's expressions when that guy questioned him about working in the muthYes

Overall, it was a terrible episode and I could barely watch it. It is now clear that Barkha is going to dominate the show for a long time at least until ratings start falling. There is no script and these creatives are not serious about this show. The creatives are serious about getting TRPs so they will follow any route that gets them those TRPs.

Today's episode was horrible, it was just more of the same. I get that Radhika/Kanha is letting Barkha think this is her victory, letting her be overconfident but I couldn't stand to watch it! I am starting to think the truth will never come out, like you said misti Barkha is going nowhere. Barkha is here to stay, the focus has been on her and will always be while Radhika and Dev are sidelined. Its ridiculous that the two stars of the show are hardly the focus while Barkha dominates. It is no wonder Zee continues to be behind its competitors

Misti thanks for your thoughts which you posted despite work pressure to me two points were confusing and did not agree on which I opened another post and which I don't agree much in the episode.

Kanha dialogues about yugs and the punishment style and which as you said they don't want to punish their(CVs) ladli Bh this is very annoying and why is Dev talking as a jigiri dost with Bh in the corridor after so much happened he should be cautious but no he is always waiting for a knock on his head by her in terms of his relations with Radhika. Ab ye kyan si theory hai😔

Yes Dev is a great lover and should not be punished😕 and the unconditional love that Radhika has for him and her sacrifices she made for him are less and she should be punished😲 and here in Radhika's case the theory of changing the sinful thoughts does not apply as she never had any such thoughts she is just there for punishment by all God including her husband Dev for whom she did all this.

Why should Kanha have all those feelings regarding SR or is it maya for BH as Kanha has said he does not want to create Maya on Dev😆

Well I also liked the Virat scene and Rohan's reaction to SR so lets see who makes the 1^st move Bh or Rohan if its Rohan Bh doubt about Rohan will be confirmed and now she will be after him.
