Dev shows off his arrogance by saying that he has always seen the truth and heard the truth (which is not really true...he thinks that he always sees the truth and hears the truth, because that is what he wants to believe ..accepting that he can be wrong will be difficult for him...because he is arrogant, has ego and also believes that his sense of justice is very strong)...that's why he prefers believing that Radhika has changed now and hence will not attack Barkha...so he still thinks that the first attack happened when Radhika was wrong. So when Barkha questions him he says that it is not possible to not believe Rdahika now . He also acknowledges that Barkha has sacrificed for the family...and done a lot...So if Radhika has not done it, but Barkha is injured then who will get the blame? (ahh Virat!...is that why his characterization was changed yesterday and he bragged to others that he has killed the RPtian). Anyway when questioned by Barkha that she has given her side of story and given the proofs...why isn't Radhika giving her side...Dev allows it ...(the duty bound leader who will make his wife go through humiliation to prove herself to people so that he remains a just ruler...the idealist who only follows the ideals of duty ...hopefully he will be pulled back from falling in love with his ideals like his dada fell in love with...its good have ideals but not good to be someone who is in love with his ideals...because then the person falls in love with this image created in his mind and does anything possible to maintain that image...and also stop being a human being...and it is usually the close family that suffers the most...like in the case of dada, his children and grandchildren are suffering the most and have become a dysfunctional family). Radhika/kanah puts a stop to all these tests and says that's she is not doing any and tells Dev that maybe like the last time he does not believe in Radhika again...Dev tells her that the proofs all showed that time that she was wrong and Radhika reminds him that proofs can be doctored and to look for the answer in his heart (to listen to his inner being and he will get the answer)...Barkha realizes that she will lose the game if Dev listens to his inner voice...and jumps up and says that if she will forgive Radhika..and gives Dev time to think but she will also leave the house if Barkha is proved wrong (She is actually proving herself as the guilty party here...because she herself jumped up and started giving ultimatums and scaring the family that she will leave).

Then Barkha has a break down when she realizes that in panic she has given an ultimatum and then decides to use Padma...tells her that she is being ill-treated and that she will leave ..Padma comes to one of the main reasons why she wants Barkha to stay...that is she goes than Rptian goes and then what will they tell people?...when reminded by Barkha that Radhika can become RPtian (by the way is the way is the rptian thing musical chairs game)and Padma continues that Dev chose her for the old mans's wish and Dev cannot forget his duty towards Rajpurohiti (duty towards Rajpurohiti means to let people know the truth...that is the real dharma...and not to think of family prestige. Whereas Padma want Dev to keep the family prestige in mind).

Dev is in his room holding the Ram Charitra Manas and Radhika/kanha goes there...dev tells her that he wants to become a child so that dada can guide him (he is sounding tired and seems as if he tired of all this and go somewhere where he will get peace...and dada has guided him all his life...lack of self confidence coming out) and that dada gave him Ram Charitra Manas and told him that all this questions have answers in this book (Ram Charitra Manas ...that is strange, because usually elders give Gita as the book that has all the answers to questions in one's life...so dada was priming him as the ideal ruler ...since dada is the guide, was Dev interpreting Ram Charitra Manas following the ideals of his dada?). Dev accepts that he is afraid to open it because dada used to tell him that to open any page and whenever some problem comes up, and that page will contain the answer to his problem,...but now he is scared that he might get the answer that he does not want to see...has he realized that he will be pulled towards dada's ideals of duty? When Rdahika/kanha offers answers Dev refuses that he does not want any answers...even if Barkha needs them because he has realized that there are only questions where there are doubts and doubts are there due to lack of belief and he does not have any disbelief regarding what Radhika has said...Radhika prods him regarding the last time when Dev did not have faith on Radhika and he looked pained...and accepts that his belief on her was not that strong but now it is strong...and it is because of her...(well it was not strong because he chose to believe something else to protect the RPhiti...because believing Barkah did that...protecting the family legacy as Padma said before)...and continues that usually his faith and RP dharma have the same answers...(yes because the faith was not based on his hearts voice that's why...but on what someone else said...again lack of self confidence)....but now his belief and RPdharma are against each other....(ahh because truth is coming up in his heart and that's where his belief is located now).....and that he does not want to loose her again (good that he acknowledges his fear but then where is the acknowledgement that it was wrong to test her? hopefully it will be there)...continues that Ram also sent Sita away listening to his subjects (Ram was the perfect idealist ruler... but dada was not chunnu munnu...he was in love with his ideals...Ram never married again, he could but he did not, whereas you happily played with marriage so that your ideals stays or your image is maintained), but till now that decision is taken as a wrong one...and and then says that he does not need to open Ram Charitra Manas anymore...because he has got the answer and he goes to keep the Ram Charitra Manas ...and Radhika/kanah says that he has got his self-confidence...

Rohan also got to know Barkha's truth...Radhika/kanah pointed out that Barkha is accusing her so that she does not have to forgive Radhika and hence Radhika and Dev cannot get close to each other...if Radhika is Barkha's best friend and have used lies to get them married but she is the bride known to society (because Radhika went in place of Barkha), and is ready to live as an unmarried wife of Dev ( a friend who has really sacrificed will not say that...Radhika never says that she does not have any recognition in society)and then Padma pointing out that she has never tried to become Dev's wife ...but then she is now refusing to forgive Radhika so that their married life cannot start...all these do not make sense and something is wrong somewhere...an Rohan says to himself that although Radhika is right and you are wrong but you carry on not forgiving Radhika then only can I make Radhika my own..(Rohan by the way what are you going to do about the SR?)...it is interesting that Rohan did not need proofs he trusts Radhika..he does listen to his inner mind but acting on it depends on what he wants at that time.

Padma showed her hypocrisy today...her need for Barkha is based on protecting the family honour...and she does have blind faith on dada's ideals...he woud have been the perfect RPtian according to dada...

Acting...Avinash stole the show...also good were Rubina, Sushmita and Saurav.

As usual thank your for a great analysis!! I really don't know how you can do this so well everyday? Thanks😉whoosh!!! Today, I won't go into all we saw. But I just want to emphasise your point. Rohan had and continues to have complete trust in Radhika's nature. Whereas we have seen Dev babu attack Rahika didi's morals and character..like earlier when Rohan was supposed to marry her and Devbabu insulted her wrongfully.😳 Dev has many issues but Rohan does not have those issues...Rohan does not have to prove himself for this selfish lunatic family...but Dev has to...he let Radhika go bcause to him that was for the family...he was also in his own way thinking of Radhika ...that he as a glorified servant won't be able to give her anything but Rohan will as the future RP nad the darling youngest son of the family...but as usual he failed to see it from Radhika's point of view and what she wants...he is arrogant and hence he got angry that Rdahika is not doing as he wants her to do...

Thanx Misti for the detailed analysis, really liked the inside menaing sod each and very line of Dev..he is still in position to not except his past mistakes and realize that first time too he did mistke by not trusting Rads..Well he did today show that he had faith in Radhika then too but then that faith got shaken,...but since he is not acknowledging his mistake maybe he does think that he was right...that he had to do that for the Rajpurohiti..... coming to his own convenient position that first time it was his lack of belief in rads and proofs suggested that (i still wonder what proofs he was talking..fill me in if i ma missing anything but the only proof was THE RPtain accusing Rads right?) the proofs were all imaginery ones or hearsay...Barkha told him that someone ijured her.when she has self harmed..Radhika asked her questions that made Radhika realise that Barkha was fibbing but Dev chose to believe Barkha...the there was that poison attempt wher he chose to believe that Radhika did itand lastly Barkha's allegations tha Rdahika tried to push her down the stairs...in that stair s scene the way Dev ran away to the muth aftr raising his hands to slap Radhika showed his guilt...he knew it then that he was wrong but again did not acknowledge it and prefered to avoid thewhole thing...maybe he was scared oflooking into Radhika's eyes. now his strong belief in her wont him accuse her again is out of fear.and I think there is somewher guilt also attached..his expressions told me that...although he is not accepting it openly...now he is afraid that Rads will leave him and he is not taking her granted...earlier he did take her for granted.Somewhere deep in him he does know that Rads is innocent, he always knew that but last time he chose to believe Balrha opely becuase of the Rajpurohit legacy..Now also he know deep down he knows that Radhika is right...to me his telling Radhika that he knows that she is speaking the truth is more out of fear/guilt than actual self realisation...because if it is that latter then he will acknowledge his mistake openly and take steps to put things right..when that happens then only canI say that self realistio has happened.but that might take time and that is ok...he has to unlearn lots of things that he has picked up from childhood... he isnt fully convineced taht rads cud never have done this but not acknowledging that Looks like will have to wait for that or Cvs are skipping that part😕 I think he is convinced ...his asking for proofs was not because he was not convinced, it was more to justify that he is an able ruler and is just because he is treating Rdahika and Barkha at the same level...Anyways a better progression.yes.one thing that lacked was R/K prodding Dev more on first time acusations and his disbelief on her..poking him more abt that matter can only make his brain work that nothing changed from first time to this time..its only his suitablity to the situations...Want him to look back once more and realize that time even no proofs were thr and this time too..its BH claiming one thing and Rads saying another..upto him what to belive both times..the prodding was more than day before yesterdays epsiode which is good...Now I don't know whether R/K will prod more or not...if Kanha's main reason forcoming was to make Dev realise the worth of Radhika in his life and what he will loose if that Radhika is not there..then that has been done...that what he will loose if he continues questioning Radhika, then that has been done .but the realisation that he was wrong because he did not follow the truth to me has not happenened because that will include acknowledging his mistake openly and taking steps to setthings right...anyways Angies 6 points just on Dev and his actions/inactions in his own world are writtin very skillfully and thanx for that..your views make it more clear as to wht Dev stand now...

Don wanna say abt lunatic BH (she is thick enough not to see the paralles of what happened to her and what she did o asli rads) and Padma..Like Rohan trcak is projected well earlier i guess his story was kind of stopped inn middle (like MS story..waht happeend to high head chenu now😕)...

Lastly for future either Dev will delve more in past and gets to knwo the truth abt rads ...feel devasted inaddition gets to know R/K is not his rads and feel utmost guilty or i just wish BH go to etreme insane that she herself reveal abt her crimes in front of whle PB...Thanx Misti and Angie for your great writups..loved them you are welcome Seema...off the two options that you have written I will prefer the former.
