Abhi what you want to say in short is let us leave the CVs alone.I agree with you that we should give them "space" but let us not stop the others from expressing their opinions. If they think the track is dragging let them. That's their opinion let us respect it. We really can not please everybody. No offense meant.
me too loving the storyline and i was one of them who complained how in cb 1 the bad guys were not punished so very happy that cvs maybe listened to us or may be they had already figured out when and how they will punish the baddies
but some times in my 2 cents it is good to point out ---why certain things are done the way they are showed---- devs inner thoughts etc were hardly ever shown before but today after a long time some explaing was done by dev ---who knows maybe the cvs paid heed to all the fans writings --- but dragging the story no way getting very intersting ---looks like they have perfected the art of surprising us the fans as the precaps most of the time are diff. than what we the fans think
Thank u for posting such wonderful views, m glad to read them all..I agree with you AD...Here are the comments of some viewers which were posted in FB..
Nayana Nair...
Story telling has many aspects'from sketching the broad outline, to writing the scenes and dialogues. Equally important is continuity to the story along with editing'.We complained in the past when scenes were poorly edited; in fact some of the meaningful scenes edited out like Dev reciting kavita to Radhika'.and it affected the story. So it is really NICE to see that we have well edited episodes and continuity in the story; especially liked how Rohan's absence was explained and there was continuity when he returns he is shown to discuss his visit with Dev (nice continuity)'Most of all we like kanha-balram conversations, answering some of the audience questions, like Dev shown to be thinking'This is a beginning. We want to see more of this especially Dev's introspection'''' the story become more appealing and easier to follow when we can connect to it, which is going well with recent episodes of CB...
Diya ....
CB has been a pioneer in becomoing with novel ideas and happily absorbed by other shows which is nothing but recognition of the ideas. But unfortunately these ideas, creativity and the ability to think differently and the people behind this were never suitably appreciated. In this context this post of your Nayana Nair is most welcome and truly appreciated.
For any story to have the connection then the dots must be linked. Even if it is a trivial thing, it is most Important. We knew Dev wanted Rohan to take active interest in RP duties but did we get any scene where this was happening. All of us believed that Dev never paid interest as he was more preoccupied with the nautanki that Barkha was doing. As a surprise we got Rohan reporting his visit to Ujjain and wanted to keep Dev abreast about the happenings n the mutt. Also liked the fact that Rohan wanted to Keep Barkha posted about it too. ..
Liked that scene. Now we are getting some ideas about Dev's thinking which is a welcome change. This is in appreciation of the work done by the editing department to keep the story free flowing. Also liked the idea of Balram being the voice of the audience and giving us justification of what the makers are trying to tell us. It also gives us lot of room for discussions and put up our questions too. No wonder the trps for the show picked up and is almost stabilized.
The story is conceived in such a way that we are finding it difficult to predict the future line. We don't have any obvious answers and because of that the curiosity factor also increases. To keep the audience guessing is a very important factor for success than obvious story lines
Suchi..
Thanks for this post---The change in the overall quality of each episode is clearly seen and is very pleasing. Nice to see that continuity is maintained and the scenes are completed, all the characters are well blended in the story and the show is not just "B
arkha" centric. Most of all like the fact that Dev is starting to show some "life"'.To me Dev is the central character, and sidelining him did not work for the show'so it is refreshing to see the change in him, with the audience seeing more of his thought process'
Devika..
now itts on the right track. today too that gap is needed to bring the smooth flow. Loved how Padma came and then walked out without much fuss... there should this reaction when things go well in track, there should be happiness to share, a light moment before the storm...
