Radhika/kanha-Barkha interaction...Today Radhika/kanha was the epitome of sarcasmstarting from telling Barkha that who is Radhika /kanha to ask her to leave...after all she is considered to be the martyr of sacrifice since she has given up so much for Rajpurohiti...and that no one knows better that Barkha how soft hearted Radhika was ...also gives a hint that she can either be God or a ghost (looking at Badi bahu) in order to be at two places at the same time since she was at home from the morning...and then stands sarcastically smiling away when everyone confirms that Radhika is at home...and then when Barkha realizes that she has been had...and Dev was thinking of taking her to the hospital... Radhika /kanha sarcastically and sweetly says oh no this is my honour and this can be treated at home (so removing the special status from Barkha) and literally drags her to her room smiling away...In the room the taunting starts.

Dev-Today Dev was completely Bholu...after listening to Barkha's story he gets exasperated and says what are you taking about...and you cannot even understand that dai has got back her voice (atleast Bholu said it...anyway from his reaction it looked to me as if he was saying fine if someone tried to kill you but the most important thing is that you did not realize that dai is talking...so to him dai talking is more important than someone trying to kill Barkha ...and dai is throwing daggers at Barkha...I mean her look is oozing hurt that Barkha did not realize that she can talk and she is wasting time talking that radhika is trying to kill her...I liked Bholus reactions here)...and then when Barkha like a good girl says I am shooo shorrry Dev...Bholu takes on his most pompous voice and says ok but next time think before accusing someone... (Bholu so what have you been doing until now regarding Radhika)...anyway when Radhika /kanha smiles and takes Barkha away... Bholu is pleased as a punch most probably thinking that the two best friends are again going to be playing house house together and that he will be left in peace...but he does not realize that Barkha will be taken on a wild goose chase...and he again will have to face challenges from Radhika/kanha.

Kanha-Balram talk- So Balram asks that what else leela are you going to show...kanha says no leelas...I have to fulfill some work and to see that some wrong people chose the right path..(does this mean realization for the wrong people followed by punishment and repentance and then right path or no punishment and repentance and just saying sorry and then freedom from wrong actions? Let's see what is in store for us)... And that Radhika's death was an illusion in Barkha's mind and he did the illusion for Radhika...creatives can you please ask the actor (sorry don't remember his name) who plays the real Kanha to lighten up...he is too stiff for Kanha...he should have lightness in him and a hint of mischievousness in him to show that it is all a game...I atleast do not see that in him.

Radhika -kanha talk...Radhika's spirit gets up and sees Kanha and rushes to him and gets told that she is dead and now it is time for her to come with him...and Radhika refuses to go leaving behind Dev and making his life hell (I think kanha expected that Radhika will not leave Dev and go anywhere with him...I mean this girl is ready to do anything for Dev ..even give up her beliefs...come in as a fake wife of someone...risk facing ridicule and she will go with him and leave behind Dev to face hell...not possible)...ohh Radhika says that Barkha is a representative of some demonic power (thank you for giving me an answer to my question that I asked last week that whether Barkha is some reincarnation of some demon.😉)...Radhika says that just punishing Barkha will not give her justice...which is true...punishing Barkha is part of it but Radhika's place needs to be restored in public...he rights have to be returned...and her innocence has to be proved...then kanha saying that we all have to reap as we sow...linked to karma that is true...but I will wait to see how much of that will be shown in this show...anyway then Kanha says that he knew that she will not come and no human being can kill her ...and that he is here to destroy evil...so means kanha is going to punish and do whatever is needed?...and that he is going to show Gita here...please real world Kanha give these creatives sense before they start writing dialogues on Gita in this show...till now they have done a hotch potch on majority of the kanha-balram dialogues...give them the sense that since Kanha is God in this show they cannot play with his dialogues ...then Barkha is burying air and Radhika is horizontal somewhere else.

Balram-kanaha again- Balram asks that then why did you give punishment to Radhika ...did she unknowingly commit some crime...Kanha's response that he always forgives crimes being committed unknowingly...ahh so that is why dai was forgiven because she just followed someone's order and thought that it is the right thing...but shouldn't she be made to realise the error of her ways...because then how will she learn'.because if she is not shown the error of her ways she will repeat what she has done and since it is done unknowingly Kanha will again forgive her?...anyway Radhika's punishment was because she decided to share her sindoor knowingly... yes Radhika did that wrong...according to kanha even if she did it for the good of others it is still wrong...but didn't kanha himself give her the thread in the temple to tie around Dev's wrist so that he can marry Barkha ...oh yes we have to forget that too...and then Kanha said that like Barkha and Radhika, Dev will also be punished for believing Barkha over Radhika...yes he did that wrong...but he has done another bigger wrong and that was before he started believing Barkha...when he took Barkhas name as his wife in the RP sabha...why is Dev not being punished for that? Is it because you all have realized that you have committed a blunder?

Anyway today Rubina was the star of the show...she is doing brilliant work here and I hope she is recognized for her good work. Her switch from Radhika/kanha to Radhika was spot on.

Misti i loved the part3 most, as it was most of Radhika's soul and Kahna's Talk...the scene went very well... though i thought the dialogues were little (pakao) in the middle😆( maybe its just me).

but loved the convo of Radhika and Kahna!

and today balram-kahna talk looked good than before. Balram's expressions were cute...i think their chemistry was good today!.

i was little mad at Dev babu, he was saying to Barkha as if kahin uske bathon se barkha ko kahin chooth na pahoonche...

good episode liked the twist, ( i mean hidden truth of Radh's death) CV's handled it very nicely...👏

And my Rubina was fantastic.

Misti, I am going to present an opinion that is contrary to popular opinion today. I liked 25% of the episode, was exasperated with 25% and hated 50% of the episode. So in the spirit of positivity, I am going to start with the good and then go to bad and the worst.

Good
Radhika/Kanha - Rubina is doing brilliant as Radhika/Kanha. As you mentioned, I could see two characters today and not because of different clothes or hairstyle. It was because of the body language, style, voice modulation, expressions etc. In the first part was Radhika/Kanha with sarcasm, taunts and twinkling eyes. In the last part was Radhika - desperate in love with Dev who at the moment doesn't deserve her. Despite his betrayal, she doesn't want to leave him just because he (the simpleton fool he is at the moment) would be in clutches of Barkha (not because Dev is like this but because Barkha's demonic power and CVs control of pen have reduced him that way). So Radhika showed devotion to Kanha, demanded justice for herself all in name of Dev.
I liked Radhika/Kanha's sarcasm to Barkha that over the heads of entire PF who were standing there as if there is no rational thought in their brain. Liked her style and her words too to Barkha. It does seem that there is one writer who is writing for Radhika/Kanha and another who is writing just for Kanha. Combined with script and Rubina's act, Radhika/Kanha is coming out as great and charismatic whom one wants to see in the show. She even makes scenes with Barkha (the most dull character; actual Kanha is close second) come alive because of her act. I do hope she gets recognition this year.
Radhika/Kanha's words were good because she used right words - Barkha getting her punishment here only. Also I liked how Radhika/Kanha too control from Barkha by reducing her importance. Dev who was shouting Barkha up to now meekly (and looking pleased as punch - more on this later on) let Radhika/Kanha take away Barkha. Padma - Barkha's savior tried to intervene but was silenced by Radhika/Kanha in a very nice manner. So good job with the script and acting here.
Bad
Dev is officially now a side character who gets the type of lines that rest of PF are getting. Actually everyone is lower than side character. So the original talented cast is reduced to lines or two. Talented actors like Saurav totally disappear. Why worry about that when the male lead who is charismatic and well liked is reduced to reciting few lines as a puppet. If somebody was joining in now, they would not know Dev is a hero of this show. Even in other Zee shows (which are not doing great either), male character is not reduced like this.
So he realizes that Barkha was unjustly blaming Radhika. He is exasperated and does point out to Barkha about Dai. But then he has this great line: It is ok, Barkha. But in future just don't blame on anyone without thinking.
Misti, as you pointed out he did the same to Radhika. But more than that, is Radhika anyone? Is there not even a single thought that they would have doubted Radhika if it was not for the fact that Radhika was indeed at home. So since Barkha is accusing her today of something and saying that a woman resembling Radhika tried to kill her, isn't there a possibility that she was maybe mistaken earlier. Maybe somebody else tried to poison Barkha. Shouldn't you feel even a little bad that your wife is being accused unjustly of a murder? This is the love of your life and spiritual partner whose rights have been taken away. Ugh...those lines spoilt the scene somewhat. If according to Kanha, it is going to take one layer at a time for Dev to realize the truth, wasn't one layer today where he would be shown questioning Barkha at least about this accusation? On top of that, he is not saying to Barkha that Radhika doesn't even know how to drive. So how could she have come after you?
Then he is looking so pleased that Radhika is going to take care of the "best friend" who just accused her of trying to murder her. I mean what is to be so happy about. Only thing comes to mind is that Dev wants to retain his illusions because that makes his world happy. But show some thoughts on his part. Is that too much to ask after a month of Barkha fest?
Dai is one character I don't like. But still how come she is not opening her mouth that Barkha burnt personal stuff of Radhika and that included childhood momentos and gifts given by Radhika to Dev. Isn't this the time to question Barkha about accusing Radhika especially when she has been burning stuff of Radhika's two days after her disappearance.
I don't buy Kanha's explanation of her committing sins in ignorance. As you mentioned Misti, then she would go on committing them. She was pretty abusive to Dev and Radhika and now she is silent despite getting her voice back. if she is a well wisher of Radhika, shouldn't she say that Barkha is accusing unnecessarily of crimes. Earlier too she had burnt Radhika's stuff. Why won't she say that because they don't want Dev to question Barkha at this moment.
I really hope that I am wrong. But why am I getting a deja-vu feeling that Dev here would be like Abhay of CB2 (clueless till the very end) and then a mild rebuke of Barkha followed by a small apology to Radhika who would forgive him instantly. Then that would be followed by their SR. Again I hope to be wrong this time.
Worst

Balram/actual Kanha conversation. This guy doesn't suit the role of Kanha. He is another dull character and yet was given 50% of the screen time (12-14 minutes). Why couldn't they have shown Rubina as Radhika/Kanha in the cowshed. The could have shown this guy as Kanha in front of the grave when Rubina was acting Radhika. He has no charisma whatsoever and his conversation with Balram is inane and atrocious. So is it going to be Barkha and actual Kanha show from now on? Since Radhika/Kanha has to be given space in this track, are they replacing Radhika/Kanha with Kanha.

Zee really has a penchant for introducing the most dull characters and give them screen space episode after episode. If Barkha wasn't bad enough, they bring this another character over existing charismatic leads and side characters who can act.

If I wanted to watch Krishn leela show, I would watch Krishna show where at least the stories would be authentic. I watch CB to see the story of Dev and Radhika with essence of Kanha in the background. I do want to see talented side characters whose stories intersect with Dev and Radhika. PF members and Mansa family have such characters.

Anyway my next peeve is with the conversation. So Barkha has demonic powers (Misti, you soothsayer - all your words come true in one form or another. Is it Kanha leela or CVs leela, I wonder?) and that's why Kanha had to come. That is all good and well. But Kanha kills demons and not reform them contrary to what his words indicated to Balram.

All adharam are going to be white washed by Kanha it seems. So Radhika is suffering because of her sin of sharing sindoor. But she was shown praying to Kanha that let Dev pick Barkha otherwise her faith in Kanha would be shaken. So wasn't that endorsement of Kanha and as Misti you mentioned, what was with the thread given to Radhika where Dev could marry Barkha if he tied that thread. Kanha seems to be going back on his own actions. Why is that Kanha?

Second, Barkha and Radhika's sins were equated by Kanha. He said that not only Barkha and Radhika, but Dev would also be punished. But ...Barkha is a demoness and is murder equal to giving one's sindoor to a friend? I hope Barkha is not one of those that are going to be reformed by Kanha. So since there won't be any body, Barkha wouldn't be a killer, Kanha (or creatives)? Will she avoid jail term and death as well? Hmm...strange justice of Kanha when he used to do things differently in dwarapyug (much nicer time than Kalyug).
Third, Dev's sin is not that he is going out in public and has given all the rights of his wife (sindoor, property, status, RPtain title) to another woman and is fooling the society. His sin is that he distrusted his wife and for that he would be punished. Yes, that is a mistake but he committed so many other sins before this mistake. So were they all dharmic acts, Kanha? So by that definition, Dada was the epitome of Dharam.
Now I shudder to think what would be punishment for others? I guess Rohan's punishment is that he is worried that Radhika is gone and he had to search for her. Great punishment for acts of rape and murder, I must say. If the legal system starts giving such punishments for various crimes, how would the world look?
Instead of all these convoluted leelas, wouldn't it have been better to give opportunities for Radhika to present the evidence and prove herself innocent. Then leave on her own citing her self pride. That she was there only to make sure that Dev is free of Barkha, but now she cannot keep on this relationship as he broke it when he broke her trust. Then they could have shown Dev realizing his fall, feeling remorseful, making things rights (by giving Radhika recognition and status in her absence) and then going after her to bring her back.
Anyway, to end on a good and pleasant note, let me reiterate that I loved Rubina as Radhika/Kanha as she made the episode watchable. Otherwise, there was nothing in the show. I was not ecstatic about Radhika was not dead because I expected that Kanha didn't let her die. If could change prasad into mud, he could fake her death too. So it was expected and didn't need 12 minutes of episode time. I am getting tired of these so called dharam lectures of Kanha that are shown with Balram. I can read Geeta and get a genuine authentic dharam lesson if I want to know about Kanha's philosophy.
So hoping that this Kanha role would be reduced from tomorrow onwards. Otherwise the ratings that are creeping up slightly week after week may go down once more. The ratings had reached 1.65 by the time of July 24th ME and fell when Dev and Radhika were sidelined in favor of Barkha. So if they do that again at the expense of Barkha and this Kanha, this would again happen.
Ok, now I am ready for brickbats.

but loved the convo of Radhika and Kahna! NiHa I know that you will like this part because you were worried that Radhika was dead...the scene was picturised well and the conceptualisation was also good but I did have problems with some of the dialogues... but Rubina kept me engrossed with her acting.
and today balram-kahna talk looked good than before. Balram's expressions were cute...i think their chemistry was good today!...the kid actor playing Balram is good and has been from the beginning...and he also gets the nuances of Balram right...my problem is with the actor who plays kanha...he needs to project lightness...even when he is speaking something serious his behaviour should be that it is all a game for him..or leelas for him.

i was little mad at Dev babu, he was saying to Barkha as if kahin uske bathon se barkha ko kahin chooth na pahoonche...well Dev will be like this now...see he was smiling when Rdahika took Barkha with her...he still prefers to live with his illusions...

good episode liked the twist, ( i mean hidden truth of Radh's death) CV's handled it very nicely...👏 I am happy that you enjoyed it NiHa...

And my Rubina was fantastic.Yes she was fantastic...I really wish she gets recognised for the effort and her hard work.

I enjoyed reading your thoughts Misti as always it's a pleasure to read your intriguing views.

I'd like to add, I'm a little disappointed with the writing of Kanha's dialogues. I do agree the actor needs to let loose a little bit. I feel there might be a little lack of confidence there or some caution because the power of Kanha being Himself is lacking. (Perhaps power might be the wrong word, more like confidence). I don't want to sound mean when I say this but I believe Radhika portray's Kanha with such excellence and the diagloues written for her are marvelous. There was something missing, I didn't like the conversation between Balram and Kanha.

Also, Radhika's death sequence was a little puzzling to me. And, again I think it has to do with jibbled writing because somehow it appeared as Kanha wanted everything to play out on it's own (of course time shows everyone their way around and this is Kanha's forte) but, it appeared as if Radhika had to plead for her justice. I'm a little confused at that as she has always been a true devotee so why didn't they show Kanha seeing that aspect more. Like why even after her death she had to pray for him to give her justice?

Another thing on the similar subject, Kanha said Radhika made a mistake by sharing her sindoor with Barkha. I truly agree with this, and this plays into the aspect that when humans do not accept God's decision (like the childhood marriage of both Radhika and Dev) and they decide to play God (even if the benefit for others; like Radhika compelling Dev her husband to marry another women) it is wrong. But, I couldn't understand the justification for why Radhika endured so much before the wanting to share sindoor committing sin. I wish the CV's gave Kanha more dialogues on that part. And to add, Radhika's sin was so significant that she had to lose her life (originally the plan) because of it? And the sin of everybody else was just going to be punished by Karma, eventually?

Edit: All in all, it was an okay episode for me. But, kuch maza nahin aaya, as they say! Something was truly missing...I blame it on the writing.

Misti liked your thoughts
I liked the Radhika Kanha scene the best and the illusion (mythya) Bh has that she has killed her and worried about her KK and family a good scene
After the 1st scene R/K and Bh I burst out laughing when Dev smiles away thinking all his problems are solved 😉😆 and also liked him asking Bh why she did not notice Dai's voice has returned.😛
Kanha Balram convo was also good as instead of the precap they are telling the viewers about future tracks and I will not go into the spiritual or Gita upadesh aspect here.
On the whole a good episode Liked Rubina's and Avinash acting and also the the peeping Pragati😆 I also felt Kanha is a bit stiff may be all that get up and dress is making him like that😉
Since this is new track so the interest is more and I am curious what happens next and how😉
I could not log in to IF for some hours I dont know whether its only me or someone else also faced this problem
