Well today to me was a filler episode mainly...

Radhika/kanha first scare the living daylights of badi bahu and her current best friend (Barkha)...what Radhika/kanha said was true that badi bahus's current best friend is throwing tantrums and throwing challenges because she is scared ...that the truth will come out and also to me she is hyper because she is losing control...it was more bravado for her than being brave. Badi Bahu has accepted that something is seriously wrong and she wants to get out of this situation because things are going out of hand. Radhika/ kanha's tone changes between badi bahu and her current best friend...with the former it is more amusement but with the latter it is sarcasm and instigation, hitting at Barkha's weak point that Radhika is better than her. Badi bahu has always being a very reactive person...as soon as she realizes that this Radhika might be a ghost she starts reacting and panicking...and stops thinking...but Virat, he is different. I liked badi bahu and Virat conversation. Actually Virat should not have told his mother his plans to take advantage of the situation and prove to others that Barkha killed Radhika and hence getting back everything. He always has brains but unfortunately his mother stops him from progressing. ...and his mother's current best friend thinks that Virat does not have brains? How self absorbed is she in her own world...actually Mohini also has brains. Now his mothers current best friend is obsessed about the fact that Radhika might win back Dev...so she wants to get rid of this Radhika and hence decides to murder her..while badi bahu wants to get rid of the spirit so that they can get back to work regarding proving that Barkha killed Radhika...combination of both wishes is understood by Radhika /Kanha who is furious for the first time. Also this current best friend thinks that she can control Rohan? That Rohan will join her? Why? Rohan will join her if there is some gain for him...otherwise why will he join her? Rohan does not forget easily insults and perceived errors of others towards him so why should he forgive her for kidnapping him? He did not forgive Dev...and decided to destroy him...Rohan will do that to Barkha too.

Now Radhika /Kanha conversation with Balaram...the part that let the pot of sins be filled up completely then action will be taken was I think for the audience...telling them to wait...but I couldn't understand balram's dialogue that Radhika /kanha has to be careful of Barkah...why? he is Kanha? Why should he be careful of a human being? He knows everything? I know Radhika /kanha said not to worry but Balram even saying this dialogues did not make any sense...but I liked the way both were referring each other...showed although their human forms are different, Balram is the elder one... Radhika /kanha was referring to Balram as aap while balram was tu...and Radhika /kanha thinks that Padma is nice?...she has just being misguided by Badi bahus best friend...so that means she does not have other motive in this arrangement?

Now Dev...his thoughts to the audience included that he loves Radhika a lot and missed her but until she asks forgivence from badi bahus current best friend, he will not accept her...now this dialogue of forgivence from barkha and being forgiven by her is reminding me of "mera parivar, biwi, bacha"...it is basically similar to what he was telling himself last week that he loves her but she has done wrong...the only things extra was the forgiven part relating to Barkha (extension of Radhika doing wrong) and partial acceptance that love makes one strong...I liked his reaction at the dining table..he was studying Radhika ...and then realized that Radhika is not paying attention...and hence pointedly said that he won't be eating now but did not Tell her but told Balram to tell Padma (another tantrum)...and no response from Radhika and he stomps off...now does he want Radhika to run after him or does he want to be Radhika's centre of attention when no one is there...I mean he wants this Radhika to just pay attention to him and not to anyone else...from Radhika /kanha's attitude it sees that Dev is not going to be successful...actually I think the circle of taking for granted is being broken here...

So for acting like Rubina and her continuous good work as Kanha..liked her with the actor enacting kid Balram...liked her not paying attention to Dev...her sarcasm and taunting towards Barkha and amusement towards Mohini and Badi bahu. Avinash was pretty good as the stubborn and tantrum throwing Dev who is still refusing to acknowledge some harsh truths. Saurav and his sarcasm as Rohan towards Barkha and last but not the least Pragati Mehera who effortlessly again stole scenes from Benaf. Infact Maheshwari and Radhika/kanha combination is becoming dynamite.

Again there was this rush...but I am guessing that it is to do with this ME which they have suddenly decided to counteract Avinash and Rubina's performace in Indian Telly Awards.

I think it is more to do with competition with Colors...I think that channel is broadcasting the telly awards...and also the other awards in SP...also CB is the only show whose TRP increased, substantially compared to the other shows in the channel...so they might be trying to encash on that too.

Well today to me was a filler episode mainly...

Yes, it was a filler episode and also rushed after a balanced episode yesterday. I was disappointed that Dev again was given such brief scenes. Regardless of what is being said, it seems that Dev is not going to get any meaningful scenes at least until Barkha is exposed. That is really bad because Dev should be the focus of this track. Afterall, isn't Radhika/Kanha here to bring awareness to Dev. So if it is supposed to be Dev's awakening track, how come he is missing from it most of the time.

Yes, Barkha has always been like that. She is a attention seeker and has an inflated opinion of herself despite the fact except for Padma and Dev, nobody is really fooled by her act. Dev is deliberately being blind in order to avoid some realities he doesn't want to face about himself and Dada. Padma is Padma who has her own interests and insecurities.
I like this difference in tone between the two. BB amuses Radhika/Kanha. Well she along with Radhika/Kanha are so much fun. They both have good comic timing. Badi bahu has always being a very reactive person...as soon as she realizes that this Radhika might be a ghost she starts reacting and panicking...and stops thinking...but Virat, he is different. I liked badi bahu and Virat conversation. I did too. Virat is actually smarter than his mother but has this mistaken belief that his mother has brains. He is the one who warned her against Radhika after Radhika got the temple doors open, but she didn't listen. He warned her against Dev and Rohan too but she ignored his warnings too. Actually Virat should not have told his mother his plans to take advantage of the situation and prove to others that Barkha killed Radhika and hence getting back everything. He always has brains but unfortunately his mother stops him from progressing. ... Yes. and his mother's current best friend thinks that Virat does not have brains? How self absorbed is she in her own world...actually Mohini also has brains. Well, Barkha always tends to underestimate people and thinks of herself as super intelligent. That's why she thinks Radhika is a simpleton whereas Radhika was the one who came up with plan to bring her to PB. She dismissed Rohan as smart despite Dai's warnings. She led Rohan to Dev and RAdhika. Now she thinks that Virat/Mohini are simpletons when they are not. Also she thinks that Rohan would sit quietly and plan something even when he knows that Radhika is dead. If he knew that Radhika was killed by Barkha, right now Rohan won't be acting cool. That was an interesting reaction by Radhika/Kanha. I hope they don't show a mild punishment for Barkha. Today there was a line about her being kicked out from the house. It was done to Katyani and Kanika last year and I hope murder is again not justified by making it seem as being kicked out of PB is a punishment.

Exactly. She is thinking that Rohan has forgotten the kidnapping. But Rohan doesn't forget and forgive. You are right. He thought Dev betrayed him and went after him viciously. In fact, he even realized that Dev would die (emotionally) if he is humiliated rather than directly killed. So he tried that too. The Yasoda maiya Padma didn't even take Rohan to task for that. Now if Dev was her real son, would she have allowed that? Why do creatives insult our intelligence by repeatedly calling her nice (that was Radhika/Kanha's words today too). She may not be Barkha's accomplice but she is far from nice.

Now Radhika /Kanha conversation with Balaram...the part that let the pot of sins be filled up completely then action will be taken was I think for the audience...telling them to wait...well all that is fine and dandy but audience reaction would depend on the punishment of Barkha and others. but I couldn't understand balram's dialogue that Radhika /kanha has to be careful of Barkah...why? he is Kanha? Why should he be careful of a human being? He knows everything? I know Radhika /kanha said not to worry but Balram even saying this dialogues did not make any sense...This dialogue was so nonsensical that I was actually offended by it. Would Balram tell Kanha to be careful of a human being. I mean if this is Kanha then it is up to him when the truth comes out. Why should Kanha be scared of a mere female? Extremely silly dialogue and I am unable to understand its context. but I liked the way both were referring each other...showed although their human forms are different, Balram is the elder one... Radhika /kanha was referring to Balram as aap while balram was tu... I liked this too that Balram is Radhika/Kanha's brother and hence is referred as aap.

and Radhika /kanha thinks that Padma is nice?...she has just being misguided by Badi bahus best friend...so that means she does not have other motive in this arrangement? The nice word again confused me (how is she nice?). But does this imply that she is not with Barkha?

Now Dev...his thoughts to the audience included that he loves Radhika a lot and missed her but until she asks forgivence from badi bahus current best friend, he will not accept her...now this dialogue of forgivence from barkha and being forgiven by her is reminding me of "mera parivar, biwi, bacha"...it is basically similar to what he was telling himself last week that he loves her but she has done wrong...the only things extra was the forgiven part relating to Barkha (extension of Radhika doing wrong) and partial acceptance that love makes one strong...

I was expecting something from Dev's scenes today and was so disappointed with what was given to Dev. The viewers know that Dev loves Radhika a lot and missed her. What is new here at all? I too think that this is the standard dialogue he would be given with Radhika or others until the truth is exposed. Why is Dev's character given such injustice? Even a simple character would have some thoughts and writers want to tell us that a complex character like Dev cannot think beyond two standard lines. What crap. Here I started expecting more after watching yesterday's scene. There is no intention of resurrecting Dev's character anytime soon. Knowing these creatives, he would be given short-drift again after the exposure. So when we used to see Dev of first year of CB1 (when CB1 was at its peak and Dev used to be given good scenes) is never happening again because these creatives are not interested in Dev at all.
I liked his reaction at the dining table..he was studying Radhika ...and then realized that Radhika is not paying attention...and hence pointedly said that he won't be eating now but did not Tell her but told Balram to tell Padma (another tantrum)...and no response from Radhika and he stomps off...now does he want Radhika to run after him or does he want to be Radhika's centre of attention when no one is there...I mean he wants this Radhika to just pay attention to him and not to anyone else...from Radhika /kanha's attitude it sees that Dev is not going to be successful...actually I think the circle of taking for granted is being broken here...

I liked this scene. He only told about not eating when he realized that Radhika wasn't paying any attention to him. He said it looking at Radhika and then stomped off even when that didn't give him intended reaction. Now he is most probably hoping that Radhika would follow him with a plate of food. It would be fun to see his face when he realizes that Radhika is not coming in. I hope they show a proper Dev scene. Yes, that circle is going to be broken here.

So for acting like Rubina and her continuous good work as Kanha..liked her with the actor enacting kid Balram...liked her not paying attention to Dev...her sarcasm and taunting towards Barkha and amusement towards Mohini and Badi bahu. Yes, Rubina was again excellent in her portrayal. Her different style as Kanha towards different characters can be visibly seen. Avinash was pretty good as the stubborn and tantrum throwing Dev who is still refusing to acknowledge some harsh truths. Yes, I liked Dev in both the first scene (which was again not written up to any standard) and the last scene. He is not being given much but he is doing great with whatever little he is given. Saurav and his sarcasm as Rohan towards Barkha I liked Saurav and his sarcasm. As you say, he does this kind of role very well. Both Rohan and Barkha are taunting each other, but Saurav was so much more superior as he got all nuances right.

and last but not the least Pragati Mehera who effortlessly again stole scenes from Benaf. Yes. Pragati is making these scenes with Barkha so much more bearable and her acting is effortness. When she is in a scene with Barkha, I ignore Barkha and just look at her. Infact Maheshwari and Radhika/kanha combination is becoming dynamite. Yes. Their scene in goshala and talking about Hanuman Chalisa was hilarious.
Again there was this rush...but I am guessing that it is to do with this ME which they have suddenly decided to counteract Avinash and Rubina's performace in Indian Telly Awards.
Today's episode was rushed and again it was not balanced. They needed to show more of Dev's scene. Give him a monologue scene, but no they had to give him that brief scene with Dai whose expressions I find hard to understand. Oh well..I guess it is no use asking about giving scenes to Dev because they are not going to give him any.

Again Zee is rushing. The ratings just started increasing. Give this track some time to make impact. Take it slowly. They usually make a mish mash of everything when they show a ME. It seems that they may do this again to this track. Again slow it down to show Dev's thoughts, even Rohan's thoughts (about Barkha and Radhika and the whole situation). But no it is all melodrama and every scene has to have Barkha in it. Too much Barkha again today for my liking.

I was shocked that there was a maha epi Sunday, I didn't see it coming. Looks like Zee is doing their best to get back the ratings they lost when they chose to ruin their popular shows
Pragati has been too good these past few epis, loved her acting! She looks completely terrified of Radhika and who can blame her she just learned that Barkha murdered Radhika and buried her body, now the grave is empty and Radhika appears in front of her. Anyone would be scared
Dev continues to be stubborn but I love the fact Radhika/Kanha doesn't care. Her goal is to scare Barkha, drive her crazy to the point where she digs a hole for herself. Really enjoying this storyline!
Loved Rohan's scenes with Barkha, glad he made it known that he has not forgotten that she kidnapped him. Rohan is aware that she is not the goody two shoes she makes herself out to be.

Thats what my feeling too that the creatives are not interested in Dev, instead of this track being about Radhika/kanha guiding Dev to self realisation and simultaneously driving Barkha over the edge...so that Dev realises his mistake even before Barkha's true face is revealed...this track is becoming more and more Radhika/kanha punishing Barkha and Dev realising his mistake after Barkha is exposed.Even last week the TRPs went up because based on what they showed in the precaps on tuesday, wednesday and thursday audience was expecting two things Barkha being exposed and Dev's reaction to Radhika's dissapearance and his reaction to al Barkha fiasco...so it is Dev and his reactions to Radhika missing that the audience are interested in.

Yes...the temple scene with Dev was not a good written one...specially if one compares to what was shown on Thursday regarding Dev and Radhika/kanha...Saurav and his sarcasm as Rohan towards Barkha I liked Saurav and his sarcasm. As you say, he does this kind of role very well. Both Rohan and Barkha are taunting each other, but Saurav was so much more superior as he got all nuances right. yes...and he stole that scene

They usually start with having good tracks and they themselves destroy the tracks by going over the top...they have done this with each and every track in this show...its alwaYs a rush for quick TRPs and glorifying characters to get that, when it is actually slow developement of tracks that usually gets the long term TRPS.

Misti, good introspection the thoughts of Dev! When he entered the dining room has remained with enlarged eyes, nailed on Radhika, like forgetting what to do, and when he saw that Radhika did not pay attention, though he heard the conversation between him and the boy, has remained stunned and depressed, may be Radhika thought that love for him has diminished, despite the words spoken by her previous < love makes you stronger>.
I liked the bright eyes / smile, malicious of Radhika / Kanha revealed that self-confidence and faith in the oath of love, in contradiction with Dev's smile turned aside showing reluctance and doubt to the decisions of his beloved.Another good part of the episode was when Dev thought to Radhika's words < love is more powerful>, maybe he be able to interpret the meaning of these words, when he realize that love Radhika remained steadfast in spite of wearing them from Barka.

Cris you do have a knack for capturing the right expressions. Both the pictures are beautiful and you have captured the right expression on both their faces...Just one thing you have written aout the "malicious of Radhika / Kanha " ...malicious means evil intent...I think there has been a misunderstanding here, Kanha being God cannot have evil intent...he is much above all these negative feelings. One can say mischievness or playfullness becuase Kanha is know to to be very mischievious.
I don't think Radhika ever thought that Dev's love for her has diminished...till the last breath she was sure that Dev will never accept Barkha...that shows Radhika's complete faith and trust in Dev.

Misti, I wanted to say that Dev believes that Radhika's love for him has diminished because she is a little cold to him in this moments and no longer give him so great importance. They have not the same opinion on the character of Barka. However, Barka has created a rift in their relationship, than all but can be removed by taking truth to surface. Love between Radhika and Dev will overcome rationality, is my opinion.
P.S. Thanks for the warning, wrong word <malicious>, I wanted to write enigmatic.

However, Barka has created a rift in their relationship, than all but can be removed by taking truth to surface. Love between Radhika and Dev will overcome rationality, is my opinion.Actually Dev is now being irrational...he is only seeing Barkha's version of facts...a rational person sees both versions and then takes a decision...he thinks that Barkha has done so much and has sacrificed so much so she cannot be wrong...but he is not seeing that Radhika has also sacrificed a lot for him to get the recognition..he thought that love will make him weak and since he did not want to become weak he chose to not listen to Radhika .I don't know whether this love and weakness comes from his growing up years or not...I mean he was taught to do stuff to make others happy, by others I mean people whom he thought that he loved...Now since he has been taught to do things even against his conscience so that others are happy, he might take that as love making him weak. But that sort of love is not the real love. True love does not demand anything in return and makes you strong to make rational decisions. It gives one selfconfidence...

P.S. Thanks for the warning, wrong word <malicious>, I wanted to write enigmatic. Cris it was not a warning😉 and yes enigmatic s a better word.
