I had written on the same lines in some post of mine (i dun remember which one though) wherein i had stated that anyone who messed with this RP post, actually suffered badly. For instance, DDjee wanted to make a twice married Hari...an RP. Even Hari wanted to become an RP. But what happened? Did he become? No. He didn't. Because he was unfit to become an RP. He had married Padma, despite being married...and on top of it had physical relations with both woman simultaneously! Harinath was nowhere close to becoming a religious leader and thus he ended up loosing his life as a punishment of cheating two women, and so many people in society.
Similarly DDjee too had a role in all this Harinath's mess. Despite being an RP, he took a gravely wrong decision of marrying his married son to Padma (thereby destroying her and Rohan's life entirely...not to forget Chaya and Dev, who suffered the most in this!) As a punishment DDjee had become bed-ridden for 12 long years!!
And now Dev and Radhika (Both) took a wrong decision and in the name of "Dharm" they played with the sanctity of marriage! What they did was not "Dharam" but just preserving "Family Honor". However, an RP is a man who thinks about the society first and not his own family honor. By taking the path of Adharam (which was the easier route) and by playing with the most purest relation in this universe (that of marriage) Dev and Radhika crossed their boundaries, cheated those people who look up to Dev, touch his feet because they consider him worthy of that even in such a young age!
Thus, at this point, Dev is not fit to be an RP. He gave in to his weakness and took a wrong decision, is still cheating people and is still thinking of using some easy method to save his skin. No. This man is not worthy of becoming an RP! On the other hand, Rads believed in "DDjee's version of Dharam" leaving aside her own brains and asked Dev to sacrifice her! They both were at fault and are paying the price for it.
Although, having said everything...i would never want Rads to die. I mean Kanha can give her a harsh punishment for crossing the lines, but cannot take away her life. She has to come back, and come back in a stronger avatar to set things right (which were messed by her and Dev... :) )
Acc. to me, Barkha is nothing but a punishment that the entire PF has got for playing with the word "Dharam"
This includes DDjee, who until his last breath was only stating that whatever is being done is done for the sake of "Dharam" which was not. Whatever he did with Dev, Chaya, Padma and Rohan was inexcusable. Since the people didn't punish him, as his lies were covered, God punished him.
All we can say is...we can hide things from society...but who can hide things from the God? He is seeing everything.
