I read Angie's thoughts, Misti's update, and I have a few things to say... My mind is rattling with pain and anger... But I have a few things to say
- One and most important, we all want Dev to pay dearly for what he has done to Radhika, but guess what in CB Land truth never comes out. Amma's burning track was never revealed to anyone in CB1, then how come we are expecting things will change in CB2
- According to the creatives they said in the beginning that CB2 will be more spiritual than CB1 etc. but they have made a huge mockery of dharma and religion in CB2. While in CB1, it was the villains doing it, in CB2 all and one are party to whatever facade Barkha and Dev are putting up at
- The whole premise of Barkha becoming so desperate for Dev that she is ready to kill Radhika in a matter of few weeks just because she always wanted someone as crazy in love as Dev is faulty. If that is true, she should fall more for Rohan who has been more desperate for Radhika than Dev. Dev was the first one to actually let go of his love (Radhikas marriage to Rohan) for family. Dev has always sided with family (which is the only justification for why Barkha would have known in advance that he would take her name as Rptian not Radhikas)
- Now lets just think logically (yes, I know CVs have lost all logic, but still, for once, lets humor something). In Radhika's first marriage to Rohan, Dev kept denying his love for Radhika. And, then suddenly one day he became so desperate that he kidnapped her. I mean, being of such a trustworthy and reputed family - what did he chose? Kidnapping? He can do whatever he wants for his love, but not Radhika? Why not? Why can't Radhika not be possessive of her love?
- Two, between Radhika and Barkha, all things being equal, why he is chosing Barkha? According to him Radhika made sacrifices too, and is saying a story and so is Barkha. Then why Barkha??? Why should in the future, Radhika ever ever forgive Dev for this??? WHY?
- Three, and most important logic. Radhika wanted to walk away from Barkha's and Dev's life so that Barkha can take her place. This was done to save the Rpiti. Barkha and Dev were the two reasons why she stayed back. Now that Barkha is madly in love with Dev, she suddenly wants to 'protect' her love? Barkha loves Dev, she is not going to harm Dev!!! She will be a good Rptain also (atleast from the fact that she is a good human being). And Radhika knows that she can never get public status of Rptain . So from a logical perspective, finally Dev and Barkha are where SHE originally wanted. Why fuss now?? Not that I dont want her to fuss. But saying that none of the characters are true to their characters anymore. If Radhika truly wanted to get out of BH and Devs life, then it would or should have been her who would have tried to show BH is good or better than her. Right? The reason I am pointing this out is because from where I see it, all these convulated twists are the CVS desperate attempts to salvage themselves and raise their TRPs. I would have been rather happy if they took the story slow - instead of half baking plots every monday and then being confused by friday as to what they should do now to clean this mess. Its like chewing gum and gallwire... Seriously!
