Sorry if this topic has already been posted but after viewing yesterday's episode it really upset and angered me to see Dev's reaction towards Radhika.

They are Soulmates, two bodies one soul, and love each other unconditionally...then what happen? Why did Dev believe that Radhika would want to kill Barkha?

I'm not upset about everybody else believing it as it's expected, but Dev? Really? What happened to him? He has no faith in his Radhika? After everything she's done for him and how much she's endured and for God sake she's living with him in the same house with another woman that the society calls his wife, yet still he doubted her?

I'm so shocked and I can't understand...

Radhika and Dev are shown as shadows of RadhaKrishna, but where there is no full faith and full trust... I don't see the essence.

Really disapppointed. 😭

Dev is actually scared to trust Radhika and thus he is choosing not to trust her because that is a safer option for him...Trusting Radhika would mean that what she is saying about Barkha is true and that Barkha is not really a genuine friend...who chose Barkha? Dada...Dev also took Barkha's name because that is linked to his dada's dreams of him becoming an RP...Dev respects and loves his dada a lot ...so if Radhika is right and Barkha is not a good person then that means dada's judgement was also wrong and that means whatever Dev has believed in from childhood is also wrong...and Dev is fighting that and that is why he is choosing to believe Barkha but not Radhika...because believing Barkha means everything is hunky dory in his dreamworld while believing Radhika means that everything he believed in is based on a pack of lies. He is also behaving like this with Radhika because he takes her for granted and thinks that whatever he says she will always be there.

So he is not choosing Barkha over Radhika...he is again fighting so that he does not have to come out of his comfort zone. This Dev is very human with loads of layers and slowly the layers are coming out...or I am hoping that they will come out. Dev has been fed duty and to do anything for his duty since he was a child...by dada and then by dai...believing Radhika will mean that he will have to give up his duty. ...basically he is fighting himself.

I agree with you. The creatives seem to have forgotten what this show is all about. Where is the spiritual love, if they can't trust each other unconditionally. It seems the creatives have a different meaning for spiritual love. In none of the tracks RADEV are shown to support each other. For some reason or the other they are always working against each other. When RAD wants to marry, dev doesnt want to, and vice versa. Each of them forces the other to marry someone else.
And now, height of it all, Dev dares to trust Burkha over Rads and even almost slaps her. In addition, Barkha gets more screen space than both leads put together. Bakwaas!!!
Only saving gracing is the cast. Every actor/actress is capable of doing justice to his/her role. AVINA are exceptional. I only wish they are backed by an airtight story line and a flawless execution

Wow Misti that's a beautiful interpretation and psychoanalysis of Dev's character. I would have never seen it that way. Beautiful post.🤗
