This Dev has always clung to Dadaji, as he was his soul support at his young age and so he used to do things to please him and this has become his habit, Now when Radhika came into his life, he got another support, but the habit of walking on his Dadaji's words have not left and so he chose Barkha over Radhika.

Yes, this Dev has always clung to DDjee and then to Rads. They were two people whom he loved the most. He is brought up in such a way to think about others first and not his own self. Thus he is thinking about Barkha first. Because Barkha is another person for him. However Radhika is none but his soul...he considers her as his own...ownself. Thus, he can feel guilt towards Barkha but not Rads...because again he feels there is nothing that Rads has sacrificed. She has got him and he has got her! He is happy in his own world. But he needs to remove those glasses and take a look outside.

This Dev is just like Radhika of CB - 1, takes the spouse for granted as feel them as their own extension. This Dev is not strong at all, as whenever a major circumstance comes, he falters and looks for a strong support.

In a way, yes, just like Rads in CB1 was not a very emotionally strong person. She did have strength but due to the life long abuses from Amma, she was hesitant to accept any happiness. Dev was needed to bring her out. Here too Dev is weak. He is not strong. He never was. Radhika is his strength...he knows that and he has acknowledged that many a times. But due to his blindness at this point due to various factors, he doesn't realize. He will when he looses her!

Yes, he is not the strong Dev of Cb-1, who is known to all of us, he is weak , v'weak and this is the reason y we r not liking his character.

For me, this Dev is no different than the rest of the Male characters seen in TV. Dev of CB1 was drastically different because he stood by his wife no matter what. Alas, the makers couldnt keep the uniqueness of the character in second season 😭

HOPE he gets strong atleast now, after he loses Radhika and turns into the Dev which we all want to see.

Yes, loosing Rads would first break him down. But make me question himself as well. When people introspect their inner conscience and try repenting for their mistakes, they become stronger. 😊
