As far as I am aware Pitr Paksh is the time period (16 days in Hindu lunar calender) when hindus give offerings (food) to their ancestors (three generations of departed souls only) and pay respect to them. So here bhog is the food offered to the ancestors. Many people go to Gaya and Varanasi (Benaras) to perform the rites on the banks of Ganga. There are specific days during this time period when the rites are to be performed.

This will mean that RaDev will not be able to have SR...as it is not an auspicious time for new beginnings

yes...Pitr Paksh is taken as inauspicious...don't have any clue regarding link to SR.😉...you mean now the Mahants will march in and stop them from doing it!

Actually this is the time period for it its from 13 to 27th sept

This is the time of Pitr paksh and one can do many things to appease ones pitras. fathers forefathers

Thanks for the quick update...well today is BB day..she is back in action...lets see how she become friend of RaDev and again try to betray them...CVs are doing a very good job...
