Here in IF we have so many precious gems – from creative, to humorous, to wise, to helpful, to poetic – that ought to be honored. So here we are with the next set of Awards to honor these gems. Do enjoy :-)

Spotlight comes on and underneath the bright white circle and I come in holding something in my left arm very carefully, which was hidden under my long scarf.
Sia: *I take the mike with my free hand and with a smile* Hello all you wonderful CBians :-)
Members smile back sweetly.
So here we are back again to have the next set of Member Awards! So Ready? I am sure you all must have been waiting impatiently to know about it ;-). Right?
Members nod excitedly
Suddenly a weird shrieking sound breaks out.
Bow! Bowww!! Bowww!!
Members scowl in confusion wondering about this sudden noise.
*Panicked! I try controlling the situation* Shush!! Baby! Be calm! Hushh!! Calm down baby. *tries controlling it, but the sounds of shrieking goes beyond control*
Bow!! Booow!!
Members meanwhile keep gazing in befuddlement wondering as to what was happening in front of them!
*Tucking the mic under my elbow, I try pacifying the little pup in my hand by rubbing fingers across his silky coat of fur* Ugh! Baby, No, behave yourself. *whispers* or else we would be in for some smelly eggs! Be Quiet. Remember you are the Surprise Chief Guest of this night. Well, not anymore a surprise!
Instantly the barking sound of the pup calms down and the entire place goes silent.
*I swallow in relief and take a few deep breaths to compose myself* Some puppy he is! *mutter under my breath*
Doggie reacts by shaking once as if warning Me.
*almost ignoring it, shift my attention back to the Members* Umm……Sorry for that little hindrance. But nevertheless, we have someone special for you all this time. Wanna know who it is?
Members nod their head in curiosity and wonderment.
Doggie again wiggles under my arm as if jumping in joy.
*Tightening my hold on the pup, I whisper to him* Yeah, I am now on to introducing you. Have some patience!
Carefully removing the scarf completely from the doggie's face, I hold it for everyone to see. The little doggie was small and very, very cute.
Instantly smiles came upon the members' faces.
"Ah! He is lovely isn't it? So you all must be wondering who it is? Right? Nah……Nah…..I don't own a puppy for sure! But this one comes from a very, very special place. Who is he?"
A bright gleam comes across the members' faces, wondering if their guesses were true.
Well, Well……….he is………. **Grinning hard*

Members' mouth fell open! *Whispers start doing their rounds* Romeo? AviNa's pup? Romeo?
"Yes,Yes……….Exactly! You all are right!! Avinash and Rubina's sweetheart pup……..Romeo!!"
Members burst in to an instant applause. Beaming faces adoring the pup could be seen all over 😃 😃 😃
Romeo looks around delightfully as everyone welcomes him warmly and blushes to himself.
*to the pup* See people in IF love you so, so much! So guys how did you like this surprise?
Members: GREAT!!!!!!!!
*blush to myself proudly* Since AviNa were busy in U.S we could only manage Romeo for now……but then I thought he would be a nice surprise for you all!! We all have only imagined Romeo and could never get a glimpse of his till date……so this became some more special!!
Romeo begins wiggling badly in my arms, almost pushing the mic off my hand, as if being irritated.
"Hush! Romeo what happened? Calm Down! Please……what happened? Okay lets start with the member awards quick……"
Romeo calmed down.
*I sigh in relief* Okay…..I guess he's missing AviNa…... *reaching closer, I kiss the pup's head once and he nuzzles my hand*
"Aww! You're so sweet!...Okay now let's begin with the Awards!"
Members cheer excitedly!!
"Hmm……so the first set of Award is for the Most Active Member…….or the Sanwri of the Edition!!"
*Adjusting the mic and Romeo in my arms, I open the small envelope in my hand…..but before taking out the card inside it, I look up at members*
"It was a tough decision people for us NL team. Many people are constantly active [which is ofcourse a good thing……so if u want to become the Sanwra/Sanwri of the Edition, do make sure to be online everytime ;-)] and well, so we had to choose one this time. So who gets to be lucky one?

*I open the card and turn it for the members to see*

I sigh. "But since he cannot….anyways…….wish AviNa could come and grace this forum sometime as well. Anyways…….So now lets move on to next set of the awards……"
EXCUSE ME!!
Suddenly a voice interrupts me, startling me. I wonder as to who was speaking? I look around to see if anyone's around. But it was just me. Swallowing hard, I ponder as to who spoke up here? Some ghost?
Excuse me? Care to look down here lady!
I scowl sensing the voice to be so near…….and my gaze drops down to Romeo in my hand.
Finally, Thanks for looking at me.
My mouth falls open and was almost about to drop Romeo down in shock!! The pup speaks? Heactually SPEAKS!!!!????
"Y…..y……you……sp…….speak??"
"Ofcourse. Why are you so shocked but!?" *Romeo asked in a casual tone*
*I swallow hard* Shouldn't I be shocked?
"Why?"
"You speak!??" I Mumbled
"So Cant Pups speak?"
"No!"
"Well, I am different from the rest……and I can speak……why do you think, Rubi gifted me to Avi? Ofcourse I was special"
"Special? Is this special? Wasn't Rubi scared?"
"No, she was a little surprised…..and so was Avi…..but then they got used to it"
Got used to it!!!!??? Still in shocked mode, I gulp and flutter my eyelids wondering if was in some dream. "Am I sleeping?" I mumble to myself. Because dogs CAN'T SPEAK!! How can he?
"Shall I bite you? If you're in sleep, you would wake up!" Romeo replied naughtily.
I look down with a half shocked- half annoyed look.
"Canines do bite right? That is pretty common no? Then why do you seem shocked?" Romeo
asked.
Clenching my jaws, I shook my head. "No! I am fine" Then, I mumble to myself, vexed. "Why didn't anyone tell me that the pup can actually speak like humans?"
"Sia, psst……..I have good hearing powers too……." Romeo inserted naughtily.
I shift my gaze to him, frowning. "O…..okay. Umm….." Would never want to take any panga shanga with a doggie.
*Not knowing what to say, I shift my attention back to members only to find them all gaping hard at me, with their wide eyes frozen on screen*
"Yeah I know, its kinda odd to see a doggie……"
The pup interrupts me again with a sharp tone. "Romeo! Not doggie please. I would appreciate if you mention me by my name. I love the name given to me by my lovely couple – Avi and Rubi!"
"o….okay. So its kinda odd to see him speak……but then…..well……" I fumble not knowing what to say and smile like an idiot. "Well……then lets move to next set of awards……fine"
Members gulp, trying to settle their shock.
"Miss. Sia!!!? What's all this? Care to explain?" Romeo asked, as if annoyed.
I gulped again, looking down. "What? I d….dont understand. What do you mean?"
"Hmph! Why did you call me here? Just to be a showpiece? I am supposed to be I am THE Chief guest right, Sia?" Romeo asked in his cute puppy voice with some sternness.
"Yes, So?"
"So? Shouldn't I be the one to announce the winners?"
My brows lift up in shock. "But how can you?"
"Why? If you can, why can't I? I can speak too?"
"Umm……yes, but……but……?"
"But what? Either I get to announce the winners……or else I am jumping from your arms to reach back home! I need some sleep"
Frowning, "You're giving me options? Threatening me?"
"Yes! If you wish to take that so! So which option do you prefer"
*I take a deep breath wondering if I seriously had any option. He was the chief guest of the day!*
"Fine! You can announce the names"
"Yes! That's like a good girl. Why didn't you think of it first? We could have been saved of your chatter patter! HaHa"
"No one said to me that you can speak" I replied sarcastically. "Then how can I plan something like that?"
"Umm……not your fault then! But now enough of all this wastage of time…..lets get on with the work! So please open the envelope please" Romeo said
My brows shot up again in admiration. "Hmm……Good professionalism. Learnt from AviNa?"
"Who's AviNa?"
"Oh……that's the short form of Avinash and Rubina…….we forumers kept that name" I reply
"Sweet name. AviNa. I shall tell them. So? Lets get on quick? You waste a lot of time Sia!"
I frown, hearing that and think to myself as to what makes him think that I waste time? Why does he keep repeating that!
"Okay…….the next set of award is for the Most Humorous Member"
Opening the envelope, I hold the card in front of Romeo. He picks the card and comes near the mic.

"Yeah but not often….."
"Wow! Tell me some inside gossip na……we all are eager to hear!" I prodded.
"Girls and Gossip are like Bread and Butter! Saat janmon ka saath…….!" Romeo quipped.
"Excuse me?"
"Its true na? Girls cannot spend a day without having gossip!! hehe" Romeo replied.
"Its utterly baseless! Who said so!?" I answered back, haughtily!

I had opened my mouth to say something, but then had it shut quick. "Avi? Avi thinks so!? I don't believe it!"
"Any man in this world believes and says that!" Romeo replied quickly.
"Okie don't tell me any gossip fine!" I said, annoyed.
"Phew! Thank heavens for saving me!" Romeo shifts his attention to members "Sorry, I am not allowed to share anything here. If Avi or Rubi come to know, they won't talk to me…..and I can't afford that. You know if Rubi doesn't talk to me even for a single day, I cant have my food!" he added.
*My anger melted at his cuteness!*
"Aww!! You love Rubi so much!"
"Yeah, She loves me equally. I love being in her arms……."
"Hmm…….does Avi feel jealous then?" I ask teasingly.
Romeo winks [he actually winks!] "Dunno……but I love seeing the sight when they have some minor quarrel and Rubi gets up, huffing, with me in her arms. That's kinda cute!"
"And then?"
"Then what? Avi knows all the tricks in the book to manaofy Rubi! Soon he is there in my place, in Rubi's soft arms and I am in ground!" he adds sadly.
"OOOh!" a teasing smile comes up on everyone's faces.
"You're so inhuman…….you're glad that Rubi puts me down in the ground?" Romeo asked, annoyed.
I cough. "No. its not because, you're left on the floor" I reply.
"Then?"
"Ahem…..Well……nothing…….Lets get on to the next awards……"
"I am not announcing! Put me down!" Romeo threatens.
"Aww. Comeon Romeo. Please……….please" I try buttering him. The pup throws some huge tantrums, I wonder to myself.
"That's better……."
"So the next set of awards……..is for the Most Helpful Member" I open the card

"That's so sweet of Avi to take out time for you everyday despite his hectic schedules!"
"Yeah……that's true. Avi was really amazed to see me in my little basket when I was gifted to him by Rubi" he added.

"Yes, I got along with them very easily and since then, we became good buddies!"

I grin. "Okay okay…..So lets get on to next award then?"

"Aww! You love the food made by Rubi so much!??"
"Yes. She makes grr8 food. So does Avi and Rubi's mom's. I have had it all" Romeo says smugly.
"mmm…….One lucky guy you are!" I nuzzle his head's fur.
"That I am. But Rubi hardly makes food now a days. She is so busy na" Romeo mumbled sadly.

Romeo was quick to interrupt. "Cute? Cuter than me?"
I couldn't help a smile. "How can anyone be cuter than you? Well, her pup had recently come onscreen with her in a show on star news"
Romeo makes a sad face. "Why didn't Avi tell me that? I too would get a chance to come na?"
"Exactly that's what we want. We want to see you sharing some fun with Avi & Rubi onscreen" I replied sweetly.
*Romeo was all happy* "Aww! You want me on tv?"
"We all want to see you in tv. Its been so much time you have come in to AviNa's life…… but we never got a chance to see you! We all want to see you with AviNa. Please request them na? Probably they can do something"

"Oops! Sia……get me to that corner quick" Romeo urged hastily.
*I quickly took him to the other corner and found a red small pouch bag. Lifting it up, I gave it to Romeo*
*Romeo opened the bag hastily and out came a swanky cell phone!*
*My jaws dropped and eyes popped out! – The pup has a cell phone and he can operate it!!!??*
"Y…..you have a mobile?"
Romeo looked up. "Yes. What's so surprising about it? Don't you have one? By the way, its my new mobile. Last week I lost one……so Avi brought me a swanky new one" he winked.
*I couldn't stifle a laugh underlined with disbelief! Avi gifted him a mobile?*
"What's there to laugh? They can keep a check on me always thru this……and well, I can talk to my sweetie as and when I wish!" Romeo's tone changed in to a sweet one.
"Ah? Sweetie? Who's that?"
"My juliet!" Romeo spoke as if in a trance.
"Your Juliet?"
"My girlfriend Sia! Its so simple!" he snapped, coming back.
*My eyes again grew wide!*
"You have a girlfriend too?"
"Yes. She lives just in front of my apartment. Her and mine caretakers are good buddies……and they take us to walk every evening. That's how we met……and fell in love" Romeo snuggled his face in my arms, as if feeling shy.
*I giggled*
"Oh…..okay……so U and Sweetie are going around. Do AviNa know?"
"Avi knows very well. He even gives me tips on pataofying girls. He knows many tricks" Romeo whispered.
"Avi gives you tips on…….pataofying a…….well……a female pup?" I ask, in disbelief.
"So what? She is a female na? I try and apply the same on her. You know she speaks as well!"
I gulp. "Okay……"
"Oh! You distracted me! Well, Avi just called me up! Let me call back or else he would be tensed"
My jaws fell open in joy. "You're calling Avi?"
"Yes, and you're gonna speak to him as well" Romeo said cutely. "I want to tell him, I am famous too"
*I couldn't believe this!! I was actually going to speak to Avinash!?*
"Hello……." A voice came out of the phone, that was put on in speaker mode. The voice was much recognized and it was of Avinash!!!!!
*Infact I was able to see him talking!!?...and he looked damn handsome!!*
*My eyes went wider and lips stretched hard in to a grin*
"Hey Avi……"
"Hey Romeo…….whats up dude? Kahan pe ho?" Avi asked casually.
*I was still trying to settle my happiness…….couldn't stop grinning like crazy as I heard his voice pouring in*
"I am fine. Have come to the CB2 Express NL Member Awards presentation……" Romeo replied.
"are bhai…..kahan pahunch gaya tu??" Avi asked
"Avi…….its the India Forums site……CB forum……"
"Oh acha acha! You're there……." Avi replied, recalling.
"Avi someone wants to talk to you……." Saying, Romeo looked up at me.
I gulped, trying to absorb this moment.
"Hello?" Avi said.
"Hi…….Avi……er…….Avinash…….." I replied.
"May I know who I am talking to?" Avi asked.
"Avi…….its Sia…….She is one of a member in IF"
"Oh Hi…….and by the way you can call me Avi" he laughed.
*I too giggled like a moron!* hehe
"Umm…….Avi We cant tell you how much we all in CB forums love you!! You're acting really really takes us in to a diff. world!! Thanks for giving us Dev"
"Thanks to you all for supporting us and CB so endlessly……Thanks to all CBians out there" Avi said in a delighted tone.
"Hey Avi……..Rubi is there?" Romeo called.
"Haan she is here………..Rubi!!!" Avi called out for her.
"Hey baby………." Rubi came in quick, looking cute in tracks and top. "Had ur food?"
Romeo didn't speak anything.
"Romeo!??" Rubi's voice went stern. "Had ur food? No? Right?"
"No" Romeo mumbled like a baby.
"Why? Havent I told u to take ur food on time?" Rubi almost reparimanded him, in a concerned tone.
"Are……..phone pe koi aur bhi hai…….Rubi. Romeo is attending a Award Presentation. He would soon leave for home" Avi pacified Rubi.
"Oh……umm……who else is there?"
"Hi…….Its me Sia"
"Hi. Sia"
"Rubi we are loving you more and more with each passing day!! And are awaiting to see the wedding on Janmashtami!" I chirped in.
"Hmm…..there some huge twists and some good fun. Don't miss it and we love you all too!"
"Thanks Rubi…….Thanks Avi…….."
"What about me? I let u speak to them!"
"Thanks Romeo…….." I kissed the pup. "He is the best ever pup in the world and oh yes, we want to see Romeo on T,V with u two...please"
Romeo giggled happily. "See i am famous!"
"Okay...we will try something for u all dear fans" Rubi promised.
*I grinned*

*Still smiling, I snuggle under my pillows to muffle this stupid voice coming from nowhere!!*

Stretching my hands, I try reaching the stuff which was making the sounds and keep groping for several moments until I find the alarm clock and shut the sounds. Grumbling, I open my eyes and look at the clock.
Everything that had happened until now flashed in front of my eyes quickly…….. Pup—Romeo speaking, AviNa speaking………
"Huh? All that wasn't real??" I wonder aloud, solemnly.
*Then I remembered Romeo asking me if he could bite me to awaken me. I giggle at that and hit my head!*
