Colors jumps to # 1 GEC spot

ICC WC mauls GECs

Colors jumped to regain the leadership spot in the Hindi General Entertainment Channels race on the back of strong deliveries by feature films. Colors moved up by 28 GRPs to end with 300 GRPs for the week (Week 14, TAM, HSM, CS 4+).

STAR Plus dropped to 261 GRPs, down 30 GRPs.

In a week that saw all the Hindi GECs barring Colors lose to the ICC World Cup, Zee TV fell to 171 (187), Sony to 120 (159) and SAB to 127 (136). Imagine slipped to 70 (81).

Looks like cricket has taken its toil but then cricket was on Saturday and wednesday what about other days

Okay so ZEE has again dropped!! I am seriously wondering whats the TRP's of CB now........hope its got decent ratings.......there were some RaDev scenes too in that week.

Yes I agree that ICC WC has taken toll on the GEC's but then as u said, the match was only on Wednesday and Saturday (during which no shows come). So how come ZEE's ratings have gone down so badly!!??

Isn't this for the week ending 26th march? We had 4 quarter finals from 23rd to 26th, we also saw CB slow down a bit--- anyway if I am mistaken and it is the previous week-end ---hmm things look a little difficult for the prime time shows.

I am not too disturbed about CB ratings because the story is still in the very initial stages and not at apoint where our day-to-day attention is required.

Now is the time for the PH and the channel to work hard on their products.

This is yesterdays trps some show which was top also fell down its the story telling and out of the mill tracks which seem to catch interest now if u see which shows the timings represent u will understand Misti maybe they will do this week also Radha Sia Gecs represent last week when semis and final was played

Thanks for the article, so Star plus has lost it number 1 position. So how come Colors is number 1 when a couple week back Zee beat Colors. Hope Choti Bahu TRP is oke! 😊
