They might take a break on the burning.......

Reminds me of Abhay and Radhika scene with her running behind the car. The music was same except for the bollywood number "toota kyon nahi dard ka silsila" That will come when the adult Radhika runs after the adult Bholenath/Kanha and he is keeping himself away from her to fulfil his obligations.
I like the restrain the creatives are showing regarding using bollywood numbers in this show....specially liked it that they did not use it in the khel khel main scene and just used classical music and shlokes.

Peom: Fabulous; some comments on particular verses
Thankyou....😉

This one reminds me of fiesty Cindrella and the step mother.
😆😆
😆

Reminds me of that sly older stepsister from Drew Barrymore's Cindrella

Oh yes........thanks for reminding me about her...as far as I remeber the younger one was a bit lenient towards Drew Barrymores Cindrella.

Brother is funny; helps Radhika when it suits him and lies too accordingly. Like him and hope they keep him grey and somewhat kind. He is the one who can pay back Chandalika for all her viciousness to Radhika.
Almost the entire forum is thinking about who is going to be Rohan and I am thinking who is going to be Chenu.....he can pay back loads of other people too...........I want him like this...the kid who plays this role is good...he has the right amount of mischieviousness in him to carry this role.

Loved Kanha the magician line. Goldfish was interesting. Too bad Kanha was in his dreamworld or world of Maya and didn't introduce goldfish to Bholenath. Wonder if the Goldfish would show up after 12 years or he is like Nandu who would never be utilized. Same with the magic coin.

Well if Chunnu Munnu this time treat him properly........Kanha can create magic.......but they again play with him then they might also face the music. Goldfish.....chances are of carrot like Nandu but it might all depend on whether he sees Dev now..

I liked the actress acting when she was furious and looking for Radhika. Her way of walking, holding her saree, sitting to ask other friends about Radhika's whereabouts were on spot. The poor women from that region wear sarees in that manner and also walk and talk like that. This actress is brilliant. Her act has eye for details. Wonder if anybody would notice that. She fits this role like a glove. Hopefully, they will keep her multidimesnsional and not waste her away with stupid dialogues.

That actress is brilliant.......she is spot on regarding the behaviour of women belonging to that strata of society and region.....She does not need to make faces to show anger or bitternes or jealousy.....one look is enough to give the message. I really hope that they do not make her do over the top acting to put her point across and keep the character as real as possible....making her one dimensional will mean wasting her talent and also will make her into a carricature which will at the end harm the show. The characters should be kept as real as possible for the audience to form a connection with them.

🤣 Hilarious Misti Di .. you are too good with your poetry and rhyming words ... 👏 ... Just flows so naturally from you ... loved it.
Yet to watch the episode but glad that the burning did not take place. Certainly do not want to see anymore burning attempts/acts in CB2. 😡

I am continuing to like Bholenath. His priority for food is now superceded by his longing for Phuljhari. Hopefully, he will still let Radhika feed him when he grows up. I too find his fondness for food interesting. Also, it was cute when he was so happy at the thought of all girls running after him once he sheds that puppy fat. I had a similar thought about girls in red gown chasing him and he acting like "Bhagwan ke liye mujhe chod do" or "Radhika, bachaoo, bachaoo..." Thanks Misti for giving credit. I don't want to see the repetition of CB1.
I suddenly had this picture of Bholenath as an adult in Rawal shouting " Radhika, bachao bachao"........and Master Chenu pops out and says "Radhika didi baad main ayegi, pahele mujhe ek rupai do phir main tumhe bachaunga".....wonder will he still insist on one rupee as an adult or will his rate increase.......to atleast 10 rupees.

Ok, so at least father speaks up today. Would have liked much less melodrama such as father threatening to live separately with Radhika in another house than threatening to drown himself. Good that he told about her crime in front of neighbors but should have told her few lines about that too. But for now, the burning is over. It may come back after few years.
Well Champakali might try that.....looking at her expression today while the mother was doing it.......it looked as if she liked this idea. Well now since the father has openly told that the mother is physical abusing Radhika she has started on emotional manipulation.........hope here to the father steps in. Being a child Radhika was shown today trying to please her mother. I understand from Radhikas POV.

t what she is pretending to be. Hopefully, they will utilize her properly. As you said, kabootarni is too obvious. I am also thinking of two other characters and not sure if you are thinking of them too. Hopefully, the story would be more complex. PR is number 1 because of stories for side characters. They should keep that in mind. CB1's story became one dimensional and hence its failure. CB2 got a good start from ratings point of view and they should keep that in mind if they want long term ratings.
Two more characters are in my sight..........don't know whether you are also thinking of them. Today I found one character interesting. I am liking this guessing game that I am playing with chunnu munnu..........it keeps me interested and that is why kabutarni does not interest me. If she does what they have said in the article...regarding Rohan....that will happen if some other characters allow her to do that. Everyone in the family knows what she is about.
So, the burning and melodrama piece was to subdue phuljhari. She will become a docile girl as the mother is playing emotional games with the girl. That would be her ticket to the entry to PB. Wish they had done that some other way. But this part is realistic and so I will accept it.
Well the indications are there today atleast of Radhika trying hard to please her mother......don't know whether they will show her as a docile one.......but like you I found it realistic.....I mean the mother realised that openly abusing her is not going to work so she will have to use use underhand means.........shows the calculating brains of an abuser.

I liked the acting of mother and father but wished they had shown father subduing his wife the other way by threatening to live separately with Radhika. Then that would have done the trick for mother and she would have still done the same things as before.
This suicide was Shastriji ready to take jalsamadhi at the drop of the hat.........Radhika had the jal samadhi sword hanging on her in CB1. I used to imagine Shastrijis jalsamadhi attempt like they used to show in Mahabharta (BR Chopras one ).......Shastriji sitting cross legged and the picture superimposed on the picture of a river.......and slowly the picture going down in the river.Unfortunately they showed it by superimposing Dev flying in air and doing a backstroke.

I think Rohan was kept under wraps because they want audience to guess his intentions. Also, they may not be sure of his role and are still pingponging on that.

Yes to both........Rohan is most probably going to be the surprise factor but actually I am liking Virat more...he is negative but has his own brains....comes to mommy for minor issues or when he knows that he can get Dev into trouble but when pushed to do something he does not want to do.......he rebels.

But, they are definitely going with Pardes way. There too Mahima went to USA before marriage in order to understand their ways. Here, Radhika would do the same initially by thinking that she got married to Rohan (based on the thread that is posted today). It seems that Rohan would be modeled after Apoorva's character where he would be spoilt but would have some sort of friendship with Dev. Dev would cover for him initially but once he shows his true colors, Dev would protect Radhika. Dev meeting with Radhika, Radhika's engagement, Radhika moving to Mathura and Radhika finding about Dev being her husband (100th episode?) is the way story seems to be moving. Hope they have side stories too and involve all the characters rather than making it a triangle.
It seems like it but I am taking all the articles with a pinch of salt........they can change the story .....so I will go with what they are showing in the episodes to come to any decision. But there are high chances that Radhika will come to Mathura..politics are there. I definitely don't want this story to about just Radhika-Dev's love story.........other characters need their own POV and stories...........bring in the intrigue of RP plus Devs birth and Radhikas birth,...............and as you have said weave the love story around it. If it is just love story then chances are that they will bring is unreasonable twists and turns to drag the show.

The promos somebody different from Apoorva in that role. But, he didn't look that impressive to be considered parallel lead. But, maybe once he starts acting it may be more impressive.

I will wait for what they show in the episodes.....they leak out many false stuff.........and anyway I am more intersted in Chenu.😉

Hope so. I am really tired of those scenes as they remind me of CB1. There was such an outrage over that and so I am hoping that the chunnu munnu have finally got into their brains that it would bring down the show and eventually drive away the audience.

I too like the use of classical music and sholaks better than bollywood numbers. Hope they keep them to minimum when kids grow up. In CB1, they were pretty restrained with them until the second wedding.

Oh yes........thanks for reminding me about her...as far as I remeber the younger one was a bit lenient towards Drew Barrymores Cindrella.

The younger one was kinder but was a weak character who did not initially support Cindrella. But then she was being bullied by her mother too. So, in the end she starts supporting Drew's Cindrella.

Actually, I like Chenu too and hope they bring somebody capable for the adult role. I want him to be utilized properly. They had Arjun in CB1 and the actor playing it knew how to act. But, they never utilized him. I think the original creators had a story in mind for him. But they delayed it too long to concentrate on just the triangle and lost steam. Hope they don't do it with the cast here. There are many interesting characters who should also be used. That's why I am using PR as an example. I am not a fan of that show or follow it. But it has side stories where the love story of leads blend with other characters and hence despite its inconsistencies it is holding a good position in ratings.

Well if Chunnu Munnu this time treat him properly........Kanha can create magic.......but they again play with him then they might also face the music. Goldfish.....chances are of carrot like Nandu but it might all depend on whether he sees Dev now..

Again Kanha should be utilized in a subtle manner the way they did initially in CB1. He should not be a character but a spiritual presence. So far they are doing that but who knows with chunnu munnu. Once bitten twice shy.

That actress is brilliant.......she is spot on regarding the behaviour of women belonging to that strata of society and region.....She does not need to make faces to show anger or bitternes or jealousy.....one look is enough to give the message. The characters should be kept as real as possible for the audience to form a connection with them.

So far this actress is a find for me. She is the best among the entire cast and is actually overshadowing Aditya. The script for him is also to blame and besides he had played helpless father too many times. But the body language of this actress, looks and expressive eyes show the bitterness, anger, ego and everything. She is coming out to be very realistic. Good job with her script today in making her underhanded in manipulating Radhika.

I forgot to comment on one thing of yours today. The line about circle forming around a little girl to see her crying was funny. That scene came out to be really stupid and I was thinking if they were going to show Radhika being hysterical or in coma or something. Otherwise, why would so many people form a circle around a little girl who is just sitting on the sand and crying?

🤣 That would be so funny. I really hope that they bring Vineet or somebody who has good chemistry with Radhika and Dev for this role. The interaction would be great between the three with Dev acting as Bholenath. He can give Chenu that Abhay look when Chenu is doing all this.

I like the name Champakali. She is going to be that and more than likely pursuing Dev and being jealous of Radhika. Not much interest in her character at the moment. I hope that they show father realizing it and not keeping silent the way Shastriji did with his Amma. The only difference in the fathers is that this father realizes the viciousness of his wife and doesn't excuse her behavior. Shastriji blamed everyone but his mother who was the main culprit.
Two more characters are in my sight..........don't know whether you are also thinking of them. Today I found one character interesting. I am liking this guessing game that I am playing with chunnu munnu..........it keeps me interested and that is why kabutarni does not interest me. I think she will be used for the spoiling of Rohan part and manipulating him to accept a girl of her choice. But it is more than likely that Virat would be there to play spoilsport. Sort of Rajjan and Katyani type. But, I too think that Kabootarni is shown as obvious villian by chunnu munnu but they have other players in mind. At least I hope so if they are planning to make it different from CB1. Hindi soaps need to learn that negativity can be shown in a mild manner rather than showing in your face. I am hoping that they are keeping Dev and Radhika's love story as a part of a big picture that would be used to fight main battle of control of PB wealth and title.

I hope they also show Radhika realizing it eventually either with Dev's help or father's help or just by herself and then confronting it. They never showed a realization on Radhika's part that she was manipulated by her mother. They showed a little bit about her becoming wise to Amma and Vishaka's ways but then the story got so sidetracked into ONS, killing of Dev that it never went into that direction.

They showed in the precap Radhika doing housework. So, the mother has become successful for the time being. The promo about Radhika going to the temple every Radha-astami is interesting as they are showing that Radhika still has a mind of her own. I just hope that they don't show her doing any

This suicide was Shastriji ready to take jalsamadhi at the drop of the hat.........Radhika had the jal samadhi sword hanging on her in CB1. 😆I forgot about Shastriji's jalsamadhi. Now that you mention about BR Chopra, I am also imagining it. I used to laugh about the way BR picturized those scenes. I am confused about the last line. When did Dev fly in air and did backstroke? Was it when he rescued Radhika from the river?

Yes to both........Rohan is most probably going to be the surprise factor but actually I am liking Virat more...he is negative but has his own brains....comes to mommy for minor issues or when he knows that he can get Dev into trouble but when pushed to do something he does not want to do.......he rebels.

I also liked Virat in that scene with his mother as it showed his characterization very well. As you have said few times, they are not either not showing Rohan's personality or showing him a puppet. So, he is not interesting at this point. The interesting people would be a tussle between Padma and Maheswari with Virat on the side. I am also interested in Padma as she would be the one to loose if Dev becomes RP. She is shown to be the type of person who would hold her cards close.

It seems like it but I am taking all the articles with a pinch of salt........they can change the story .....so I will go with what they are showing in the episodes to come to any decision. But there are high chances that Radhika will come to Mathura..politics are there. If it is just love story then chances are that they will bring is unreasonable twists and turns to drag the show.

I really hope that they have a more complex story this time rather than just the love story. Actually the love story gets enhanced if the main theme is something else. Because then it would be how two people's spiritual connection to one another and Kanha helps them against all odds. I want brains to be included with the spirituality. Again, a big no to anything ritualistic as showing Radhika keeping vrats etc as a child. Hope they show that if she does symbolic, it is only after she falls for Dev.

I will wait for what they show in the episodes.....they leak out many false stuff.........and anyway I am more intersted in Chenu.😉

That is true about leaking stuff that may not come true. Lets see what they do with Chenu. Just hope no endless torture as all of these channels are fond of doing that. Sometimes I wonder why Indian audience are not tired of that by now.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha. Too good Misti. Loved the poem. And of course your analysis is spot on. Love the name Bholenath for our Dev. Let's see if he grows out of it when grown up, or still remains Bhole.

Misti--brilliant analysis and love the discussion...
melodrama is needed in the serial and sometimes the precap is made to be even more so, just to catch the audience attention...but it can back fire..

Physical abuse of any kind, especially towards a child should not be dramatized..ever..

Some characters are still evolving in the story, wonder if it is intentional..
Shanti is a brilliant actress (does any one know her name or if she has acted in other shows???)--she does have the "Power of Eyes"...
Casting for this show is very good--all the kids have done an amazing job..

Let's see what the next week brings..
