part 8.

seeing her expression,dev didnt know what was running through her mind. radhika wasnt able to stop staring at the pictures dev drew of her.

"you're angry arent you?"he spoke, he continues,"i knew i sh....."radhika cut him off by covering his mouth.

"they're beautiful.dev,.....how log have you loved me?"she asked.

"radhika, the moment i saw you, i knew you were the one for me. i didn't say anything because i didnt know how you felt ab..."she cut him off again.

"i love you too<"she rushed down the words.

dev turned her around to face him.he saw her teary eyes and smiled. her wiped her tears away.his touch made her shiver.she slowly looked at him.they were wearing the most adorable smiles.

"dev, i have always loved you,"she said

hearing this,they embraced each other..they were in each others' arms for a long period of time.after a while, radhika realised their position.

"dev, i have to go,"she said almost a whisper.

"no radhika, i dont want to let go of you."he said with a smile, but he felt radhika's blush. he smiled mischievously and let her go.. they stood there staring at each other.

"i have to go,"she said and as she was about to leave, dev held her hand.she looked down shyly.

"dev,"she said, trying not to show her shyness but at the same time, she was was trying to realease herself.dev realized this.

he slowly approached her and turned her to face him.he cupped her face and kissed her on her cheek.her cheek burned as the blood rush to her cheeks.she looked up at him shyly.he was wearing the cutest smile. seeing this, she blushed even more and ran away..

in rads room.

she rushed to her room and closed the door thinking she was alone.

"so, tell us everything,"she jumped hearing the voice.she turned to see amrita and deepika staring at her..

"your smile says it all."deepika said.

"he loves me<"she said unable to hold her anxiety.the girls were jumping for joy.

dev's room.

dev did the same.he now entered the room .

"so, when's the wedding?"shahid asked.

"yeah, where's our invitation?"ranbir asked.

"make your jokes, but how did you know?"he asked

"its a give away.anyone would know<>"shahid said.

"okay so where;ss our invitation?"ranbir asked

"haha"dev said,"

"but seriously congrads."

"thnaks, eveything is in Gods hands now<"he said.

sorry for taking soo long to update.i had exams, but it's over.yepi.

anyway, thanks for the support. i am sorryfor the short update and i am sorry if my ff is boring you.but dont worry, the drama is coming up in a while.

Oh Dear.. so finally you updated. Thanks, i just came to peek in after 2 days... and treated with ur update. Too busy now a days, with work and studies.

Nice update dear. I was imagining Radhika's face in pencil sketch, wow, that will be a beutiful one.. so what is next?

part 9

PARTY TIME

the guest began to arrive and began talking and,, well, the usual. dev's family and radhika's family were standing with eah other, talking, laughing and having fun.

"vishali, where's dev?" devki asked.

"right here," dev said before vishali could reply.

he was wearing a dark blue jeans with a white shirt and the black formal jacket rads choose for him.

"why are you late?"vishali asked.

"sorry, sorry," he said holding his ears. everyone laughed. after a while someone took the mick and began to speak.

"goodnight ladies and gentlemen," everyone turned their attention to deepika who was speaking.

"as we all know, we are here to celebrate Miss Radhika Shastri's 24th birthday, so let's welcome her," she continued as everyone as well as herself began to applaud her. dev was clapping but waiting to see his radhika. everyone was looking at radhika's door waiting for her to come out.

(radhika did not like being the center of attention.)she tried to go back in her room but amrita blocked her way.

she was wearing this:

(the white one).her hair was opened and it was cut in steps.

she turned to face a smiling audience. dev smiled looking at her shyness..looking at her shyness, she spotted dev.she blushed seeing his adorable smile. shahid elbowed dev to show him to go to the staircase to cllect radhika. shastriji gave his permission. radhika saw dev moving towards the stare case and was confused.seeing himcome upstairs extending his hand, she blushed.. she slowly too his hand and they made their way down. everyone applaued.radev's families had a huge smile on their faces. before radev reached, their families swhispered something amongst themselves. when they readhed, radhika took all the elders blessings.

"radhika you're looking beautiful,:"mirnali said.

"thanks didi<"she said shyly.

"radhika beti, you know you still have to dance<"shastriji said

radhika made a face,"papa do i have to?"

"haan beti,"

"radhika, go get ready you have to ,"dev said.

"fine,"she reluctuntly agreed.dev smiled.

she went to change, after five minutes, she came out.the lights went off and the center light focused on radhika.

"do you need anyone to close your mouh?" ranbir asked dev.

"shut up<"dev replied.

the song began playing and radhika began daning and dev.. well, he was just gazing lovingly at radhika. she dancing so beautifully and garcefully. everyone clapped when she finished. she took the mike.

"thanks everyone for comiing,it means a lot to me."she began.

"am, honestly speaking, i'm not good at making speeches, so i'll just say this, enjoy your night and thanks for coming,"she finished. she went back and changed. after she came and stood by shahis, amrita, ranbir, deepika and dev.

"so, how was the performance?"she asked,

"asked loverboy,"amrita said.

"it was great rads,"he said lovingly. their gazes were stick to each other's.thier friends realized this.

amrita snapped her fingers between thier faces adnthey came back to reality. radhika begant o feel shy and she ran to the terrace.

"aree, badmash, you made her blush, go pacify her lover boy," deepika said. dev smiled and followed radhika.

ON THE TERRACE

it was a beautiful scene, only the stars and moon and fresh air,the wind blowing and everything was perfect.. radhika was looking up at the shy.

"why do i love him Kanha?"she asked.

"ask your heart."dev suggested as her entered.. rads was embarrassed.

"did i say that out loud?"she asked herself but dev heard.

"well, i heard so yaeh"he said with a smile.

"i mean, i always loved you and i know why, but why to you love me?"she asked innocently. he came closer to her.

dev smiled,"radhika, i always loved you, the first day i saw you, i knew that you were the one for me, but i never showed it,"radhika had tears rolling dow her cheeks. dev saw this and smiled.

"whya re you crying?"he asked wiping her tears.

"cuause, it makes no sense for you to love me,"she said.

"it makes no sense for you to love me either, but, we both love each other. radhika i always wanted to show you how much to loved to but i didnt know how<:"he said holding her shoulders.

"radhika turn around and close your eyes."he said

"why?"she asked confused

"please,"he pleaded.

he took out something from his jacket pocket and took out a chain and placed it around radhiika's neck..she felt somthing and touched the chain.

"dev?"she asked confused.

"shhhh,"she said. when her was finished, her gently turned her around. she was still holding the pedent.

"it's beautiful,"she said

"openit<"he said

she opened the heart shaped pedent and saw "dev adn radhika' engarved in it.

she looked up at him and smiled.

"happy birthday,"he said.

she hugged him and they stood in that pposition for a long time.
