Diya, there a poignancy to the story and the terrain, it gives an ethereal feeling of love, longing, pining and hoping. Now want to know about the music too, wonder if they will include local folk tunes and instruments like sarangi which again has a poignant sound.

As per Article Character role in show :

Sanaya Irani ( Parvati ) :

'Rang Rasiya' is about a young girl, Parvati, who believes deeply in the power of love, and what happens when her paths cross with a man who doesn't.

Syed Zafar :

The show will have Syed play a BSF Major.

Tarun Khanna :

Tarun will be playing an interesting and strong character in Rang Rasiya.His role will be that of a landlord who has all the powers, and people look up to him for help. His antagonist role in the show has all the meat required to catch the audiences' attraction, conveys our source.

Barka Bisht :

Barkha will most likely play the third angle in Rang Rasiya. The lady will don a negative character for the grand Rajasthan backdrop show.

Sadiya Siddiqui :

Sadiya will play a poetess and painter, a lady who has a lot to give and is passionate about many things. She will marry a person who has the least of interests to her passions and thus, ends up having a troubled marriage.

Surabhi Prabhu:

Surabhi's role will be a strong role with many shades. She will be seen helping the main lead in the show.

awww truly red was made for her.. it has her name written in it! sigh.. and those mirror work on the skirt... awww...the rajastani traditional jewellery for every day wear... sigh...and that gorgeous pallu on her head... sigh.. what a delight! ❤️

in a rural backdrop like this its always stunning to have the pallu. i am only against it when its forced later on against the will and not as a part of a culture.. anyway this is sooo beautiful on her!! [8->]

As far as I know, only dialogues ... I first heard of him wrt Maryada, which was combination of Waseem Sabeer as director and RS as writer ... the same team did the first few months of Veera. Both shows impressed me tremendously with their direction, the meticulous attention to detail, and also closing all the loops they opened. And the dialogues were always brilliant, power packed, yet non-filmy. I followed both the shows very regularly, and enjoyed them both.

He does dialogues for BV and DABH too ... while I don't like DABH, and find BV very slow, but I actually like the dialogues in BV a lot ... each character is very well defined. I don't follow DABH at all, so don't know about that, but have heard similar reports ... attention to detail and closing of loops. The director is different for the latter two shows, so I guess RS does have more input than only dialogues. He might also be partly responsible for screenplay ... I hope so ... he will bring all that to RR as well.

The only caution is that he doesn't seem so great for romance ... but if GH and LM are now associated with Nautanki, hopefully they will fill that gap.

Thank you Diya...is there any possibility of LM and GH joining the team? Heard nothing from either of them. LM definitely appreciates Sanaya's talent and knows her strengths and weaknesses so can bring out the best in her. Waiting to hear more about the technical team as well.

Agree, U, Rajasthan is probably India's most beautiful state, both in terms of natural as well as man made beauty.

ST is also known for his music ... he had original music for both his shows MB and DDEJ. Here he has a rich treasure trove to dig into, I hope he uses it well. I think we can look forward to some good music, not just recycled BW tunes.

Omg, if he uses the sarangi , it will be beautiful, both sarangi and sarod are beautiful instruments. I hope he also does some good dance sequences ... with the color of the Rajasthani costumes, those will be a visual treat as well.
