I agree.
In today's world, intelligence and logic are a much better solution to tackle life's adversities. There are enough avenues of stress readily available without having 'family' contribute to it.
The current crop of saas-bahu rona, dona, gossip mongering, back biting, disunity drama, is really not the way a generation of viewers should base their values and morals on!
But solving life's problems with intelligence and logic is not everybody's cup of tea. This kind of thinking requires intelligence that is sorely lacking in 95% of the population.

Good to see you back and even though I've always liked the show I have to agree the track that started ever since the CC-UB confrontation has been improving steadily and we're finally at the show that Sanaya talked about at the launch about a contemporary girl being able to respect traditional values but using her modern thinking to solve problems. She's won over her MIL and yet still retains her identity fully...at least I hope the winning over is a permanent situation. The saas-bahu jodi is cute although UB is still a little competitive and i wonder if UP's going along with CC because the whole family is with CC and would she be so accommodating to CC's views otherwise. Then again it might be a permanent change because UB has to have changed by the end of the show, which I hope wont be for a long time yet.

95% of the population...that's a bit harsh😊. I'm not sure that shows like DABH are popular because people are basing their own morals and values on those characters. All the older people in my family watch DABH and honestly they enjoy the drama factor but spend most of their time saying how horrible the MIL is and feeling sorry for the DIL...and I think that's the draw of that show to see the underdog win. Personally I can't stand the MIL in that home because even after all the DIL has done she still hasn't changed to any great degree. My issue is the lack of growth in the character...that's why I hope CC won't always be right because then there won't be any growth in her character

My mom watches DABH and enjoyed it but I can't stand these type of shows its this famous in TRP because of the social message I agree with Jaya CC can't always be right here but there wouldn't be much for her character to do.
