I think CC's plan fell flat ... she wanted to show Mukut that Kau could accompany him outside, but that was a disaster ... she didn't realise that Kau can't handle cutlery. Kau needs a lot more lessons ... just simple grooming is not going to do it!
Mayuri not coming planting seeds of doubt ... why didn't Mayuri tell Mukut that she got a call from the restaurant that their lunch had been set back by an hour? And did Mayur Patel keep Mayuri on the phone the entire morning?

Diya ever since Mukut mentioned about Mayuri cooking Italian etc, I recollected the initial Manav-CC meeting over a cup of coffee. Then Manav had clearly declined any outdoor meals because his mom had instilled in them the habit of eating homemade stuff.

Suddenly all have developed a taste for Italian and outdoor eating.😲

I also wish that K's transformation is not just about making her look pretty for Mukut. but her way of thinking has to change. No doubt CC did say K has first rights over Mukut's success, but here Mukut does not find K worthy enough to share his achievement.

A heart to heart mature woman-to-woman convo between CC and Kaumudi would really help K realize how and what she needs to change about herself. Somehow I felt CC & UB are all over the place...like getting someone (the most unlikely candidate) ready to win a beauty pageant...

No sane discussion has taken place between anyone...Looks like I am complaining too much...just that this is serious stuff...and needs a long term solution...

Ok kill me if you have to, but Manav looked like a younger version of Al Pacino sporting that French beard and earring.

Nevertheless a well executed episode...and hope this Kaumudi--Mukut track doesn't end even if Mayuri is caught in the Patel fella trap!

K herself does not know what she wants and what she wants to do... the dialog is much needed and once K has worked out what she wants and what she has to do to get there ( there is only so much she can change after so many years ... even if she wishes to) and Mayuri's benchmark is high... she should go after it. After all , CC and UB can help the marriage only so much ... UB along with her DILs has made Kaumudi get time for herself... but she has to learn to use it.

Exactly, this convo should cover up the points/complaints Mukut raised with Manav...and why men stray away from home...that as the wife of a businessman what social skills she should acquire, and so much more...give her a boost of confidence by saying nothing is wrong with her, its what she should give more importance to in her life as a woman and wife. All this time K has been busy in making her MIL happy and ensuring sumptous meals on the table everyday. But there is more to life than that...where her priorities lie etc etc..

My favourite scene today was the ChanMan scene. Finally the romance makes an entry again. Both Anuj and Sanaya were so cute in that scene. I'm so happy that Dadaji is back. Hes such a sweetheart. I really want to know what he told Manav about romancing his wife. 😉

Like you said Kaumudi cries over every little thing, she's a total 'rotlu', which makes her a tad bit annoying but at the same time you feel sorry for her. Mukut was very mean today, what a jerk!

CC's plan of taking Kaumudi to the restaurant was not good, although I'm surprised that Kaumudi didn't know how to eat with a fork, because thats something you normally use at home too.

I liked UB today, she was so funny with her temple idea and her choice of sari. Sanaya's expressions were hilarious in that scene, that girl is simply fabulous.

Precap seems interesting, looking forward to see Manav as Mayur patel.

Sanaya changed her outfit so many times today, she has such a lovely wadrobe. It's also good to see that none of her suits have been repeated so far, seems like the PH spends alot on her clothes alone,. No wonder its such an expensive show. 😆 Not that I'm complaining, love to see her in all those different outfits!

The drought of ChhanMan finally over ... hope we get more today and tomorrow because we have a VERY long weekend ahead!!!

I really hope Kaumudi's makeover includes some personality makeover as well, not just the looks ... because she is really a 'rotlu' ... but if she has been living with a guy who doesn't appreciate her at all and keeps putting her down, you can't blame her completely too.
Mukut seems to be letting loose ... as though he is out to try to convince the family how ganwar Kaumudi is, and what he has to live with ... now that his secret is out, he's trying to justify himself and his actions...

I have a feeling the PH has tied up with a boutique 😛 They're getting free advertising for their clothes, and Sanaya gets a fabulous wardrobe! 😆

Agree with both of you ... this has to be more than presentation ... it has to cover social skills, some polish and poise, how the wife of a businessman should dress and behave ... of course it can't happen overnight, but there should eb a start.

What they could do is that Mayuri be exposed as fraud ... which will probably happen pretty soon ... and then the actual transformation of Kaumudi starts ... now Umaben and the other bahus have started helping out more in the kitchen, Kaumudi has more time, she should use it to better herself ... am I hoping for too much?😛

You bet ... loved the ChhanMan scene!!! And for once, I didn't mind the kabab mein haddi!! Dadaji is too cute!!

Good idea about the entire family helping Kaumudi instead of just glaring at Mukut 😛 But except for Manav and Chhanchhan and maybe Manthan, coaching her in social skills, there's not much they can do ... and Kaumudi had to develop the drive to better herslef instead of giving up so easily ... Hope this track is leading that way.

My feeling is that Mukut is partly letting out his repressed frustrations, which have been bottled in for so long ... and also, now that his family knows about Mayuri, there is a feeling of guilt added, and he's trying to justify himself to his family by constantly pointing out Kaumudi's faults ... as though showing them, look, this is what I have to live with! Because he can see that his family is with Kaumudi, including even Umaben ...

Also there is guilt for his daughters ... after all, he did realise that Kaumudi was needed for the girls, and he did not want her to leave home ... he seems to be confused now that things are out in the open, he himself doesn't know what exactly he wants and how to take things further. If things had continued the same way, with Kaumudi his wife, and Mayuri his girlfriend, he would probably have been quite happy, and continued justifying his 'affair' by picking faults with Kaumudi.

So now the question is ... CC can get rid of Mayuri all right, judging by the precap ... but how does she solve the deeper issue of Mukut's dissatisfaction, which led to this whole problem in the first place? Or will they just skate over it and make it that Mayuri was the one who made him feel discontent in the first place and he was actually fine with Kaumudi all these years? Should not happen that way ... once he has decided he is missing something, Kaumudi should also change somewhat and prove to him that she was held back by Umaben's rules and his own lack of support, and nothing else.
