Newsroom is here with some exclusive dope on the recent developments of Sony TV's fiction show Chhanchhan which stars Sanaya Irani and Anuj Sachdeva.
Recently media is a buzz with the show going off air due to low ratings of 0.5 TRP due to stiff competition with other shows.
We contacted Sanaya Irani who said,"I didn't get any news of the show going off air but we all are happy shooting and are having a nice time on the sets."
We texted a Sony TV official who reverted to our message by saying,"The show isn't going off air but is under the scanner and we are giving the show time to prove it self."

i don't want this show to go off air. earlier it was just for San and I know she will be back with a bang soon if this doesn't work. But now the thing is I love it as a show too. And I adore SaNuj!
i want this to be on air for at least for 1 full year! 😭

EDITED now they updated the status that its NOT going off air!

THANKS newsroom for as always doing ethical journalism! I am not editing the previous reply of mine, cz truly even when it was negative news i expected I trusted them implicitly to give the correct news and didn't call it a lie simply cz i know they will not lie even if its not what i wanted to hear!
And now they have confirmed this to be the opposite well I AM 100% sure its accurate! I trust them so much!! they have been exceptional in their conduct when it comes to accuracy and integrity!!

One media site that everyone else should take lessons from!

So it's true? I was hoping it was just a rumour in the wake of the low TRPs. It's really a shame, the show has been improving over the last one month. I do hope they change their mind. However long it lasts for, I will watch the show. Sadly, I'm not among the TRP audience. Hope for the best for Sanaya and her career ahead, and of course for the rest of the team as well.
