That's why Chhanchhan is different..

...And by Chhanchhan I mean both the show and the character ;)

She added 2+2 .. and equaled it (thankfully) to 4 and not 5.
She figured out, no matter how all the evidence stared glaringly at her, that Sonali's "Manav" and her husband were the same person.
She looked back at all the evidence and doubted Umaben's sudden "love" for her.
She managed to convince Manav and get him to meet Sonali with her.

He, in some way atleast, believed her which is why he agreed to meet Sonali.
He always finds ways to help her .. even if he has to do things he doesn't like.

Now all that's a first isn't it .. How many times have we seen a husband trust his wife over his mother? How many times have we seen the bahu pretty much figure out what her MIL is up to so soon? How many times have we seen a woman play masterstroke by masterstroke and almost effortlessly breeze past all the hurdles thrown in her way, and her husband stand by her at every step, helping her overcome her hurdles?

P.S. The icing on top of a great episode has got to be the fact that another flashback scene was enacted by Anuj as Manav! ;)

Lovely post. Totally agree with you. I have not seen any of the so called Sas-bhahu type serials, so can't compare but from all the discussion in IF I have some idea now.

What I like the most about this show is the characters uses their brain like normal people!

Are they rushing things ... or have we just got so used to the snail's pace in all soaps that this normal thinking intelligent heroine seems super fast?!

@bold 🤣 that definitely has to do with the extreme slow pace in other shows .. but this is a welcome change ;) I guess the real story begins now .. wonder whether Chhanchhan/Manav will directly confront UB .. or whether they'll wait in the sidelines until the right moment, and face all the challenges UB throws at them.

They do! As Sanaya has said time and again, Chhanchhan is a very today's girl. And it's great to see Manav support her the way he does.

chaman understandings...family comedy and drama...most importantly flashbackof anuj as manav and precap was awesome and thrilling

Liked the episode & liking the show more... Initially I was not a regular viewer but now I catch every episode... But I am not a trp audience... Hope trp increases soon...

I'm totally loving the pace of this show and the intelligence being shown by CC...unlike most tv bahus she put 2n2 together very quickly and came up with the regular 4 instead of the tv requisite of 5. Even better is that she decided to confide in her husband instead of trying to investigate the whole matter by herself...how real is that. Sanaya was so right when she said this was a realistic light hearted show. Thanks Sanaya for picking this show because I'm loving it!!!

Yea such a nice change. She is not broken, dejected and weeping in some dark corner while trying to deal with it alone but instead takes a refreshing route. Now it's gonna be fun to see how the tables turn on UB when these guys catch up to her. How will they deal with this together? And take on UB too? It shud be fun.
