good post i agree nothing can beat ipk and chemistry between sarun is just magical and i dont think any onscreen couple will reach to that level in the coming years.as one of the crazy arshi fan even i wanted to see them again.

coming to chhanchhan there is no grip in the story .i think scenes are seemed to be forced because of bad screenplay.but here i want to say this ph forte is not romance at all they are good with family drama .i have seen their previous show and there was no romantic scenes at all . but they make feel good family drama and they sketch characters beautifully .they make female lead character strong with out any rona dhona yet close to reality. ph 's previous show female character was popular too.so i think sanaya is not wrong in taking this show.she does not want to do a love story again so she took this show which revolves around her. messing part here is love story which was not this ph genere so now as family drama is going to start i hope story goes well and the show gets its required trp. we just need patience to see how the story unfolds from now as cc and ub challenge is going to start.

we should not expect any romance or chemistry between the leads as show itself is about CC and UB .when CC becomes strong and gives answer to UB in her way automatically it will be interesting to watch and it will provide required spice to the show.

Sanaya is a dedicated actor, when she was offered this show...she took it becoz the avatar was totally different than what had been presented on tv before but sad to admit that SANAYA was cheated upon...the show lacks everything that would make it a hit...the only thing thats keeping this show at 0.6 Trp is SANAYA herself...almost everyone is watching it just for her...hope the show improves...but even if it doesnt...it WILL NOT EFFECT SANAYA's POPULARITY!!!!!!!!!

WE all know SANAYA is an amazing actor and she will do well in almost anything...

Would love to see her host more shows than act!!!!!!!!!!!

Sanaya,

Since this show started, there has been a raging debate here about this show and why you signed it. Everything I am writing now, I must have said before at one time or another in this forum.

I think you are a very bright, hard working, intelligent woman who knows what she wants in life and where she wants to head in her career. I was very impressed by how much thought you have put into choosing each role. Be it Gunjan (the demure Indian girl), to Khushi ( the bubbly, small town girl). Even before you took on lead roles, you deliberately chose smaller roles to hone your acting and language skills. That shows preparation and planning.

The lead roles you chose before Chhanchhan, was based on trying to expand your repertoire, rather than trying to gather popularity. However, hard work paid off and shows became hit, along with people realizing your talent and range. You believed in yourself and kept moving on, despite being stereotyped because of your looks etc. You forged ahead and made people eat their words.

Even with Chhanchhan, you thought of all the pros and cons before signing. You knew very well that there will be comparisons, disappointments with the genre, but you still went with your guts. I appreciate the fact, that you want to expand the kind of roles and shows you want to do, the fear of failure has not paralysed you.

You chose a reputed production house, a big channel for your new show, and now you are giving it 100% without being distracted by other offers. That is the most you can do, the rest has to be handled by the production team, creatives, and other actors over which you have no control. It also shows that you are a cooperative actor and do not interfere in other departments, which some are falsely accusing you of now.

Yes, the show is on a shaky ground, and you must be knowing of it, but every serial is team work and for a show to be a hit all departments will have to perform equally well. We hope that this will happen soon. More than anyone, you must be praying for it as after all this is your baby, and you are the one putting in your sweat, blood and time into this. You got it right, when you said in your last interview that viewers have to "connect" with the story of Chhanchhan.

I will never fault you for choosing this show, infact I hope you get opportunities to experiment even more in future and play varied characters, because the key to growth in one's craft is to learn and perform new things. The only thing I wish for you is that your endeavours are complimented by equally talented production teams and writers.

All the people who are criticizing you for choosing this show should know that there is no actor/ actress on planet who has not seen failure and hindsight is 20-20. Nobody signs a serial or film knowing it is bad. Sanaya, I am glad that you are not allowing your popularity or other people's expectations imprison you. You are trying to carve a niche for yourself in an industry and space which has very limited choices for actors.

It also true a large chunk of these critical people are your well-wishers and want the best for you and get disappointed when things don't work for you.

Hope the Indian television industry also changes the format of shows and story telling styles so that talented actors like you get more creative satisfaction.

In the last few months you have had some knocks, but you emerged out of them gracefully with your head held high, so nothing can hold you down for long. I hope this show does well eventually, but in case it does not, I am sure you will be back with something else. There is always a takeaway in every experience, and failures are mere stepping stones.

No matter what happens with this show, your hard work and dedication is easy to see and is being recognized. You are like Captain of a ship, you will sail or sink with it but never give up. Attagirl!

Good Luck with Chhanchhan and hope to see you in many more avatars in future.

Let me hug you- 🤗 Beautifully put, even if this show fails, she doesn't. Because she took a risk and she gave it her all, her performance is being applauded left right and center.
