Sanaya has already shot the post engagement investigation scenes ... so they have a big bank of her scenes, hers and the Sarabhai family ... only the engagement scenes, including Bharti's and the other dances was done right before airing, it seems.

I would not have minded Karan Goddwani ... he is good actor, and he played a guy silently in love with her character ... and also her good friend ... Manav would be an interesting role for him, I think he could carry it off. But a fresh face not from her previous show is probably a better bet.

Not Viraaf, please!!! I have not given up my dreams of seeing Sanaya-Viraaf in a mature love story somewhere down the line ... if he did this, it would end that dream, as pairs are almost never repeated. Besides, he looks too sophisticated to play a dikra. 😛

But but my first choice is Viraf!! Realistically speaking, not sure how many more lead roles Sanaya will get, considering she is touching 30 soon and marriage may also be on the cards, so in short, to make hay while the sun shines just get Viraf in there! It will bring in that zing this serial needs and also etch his character sketch out a little better so it doesn't end up being a saas bahu saga.
