I feel BAD for Sanaya - Page 2

I know right. I try to like the show but I can'tcan't

Every actor signs a project hoping it will be well executed, will be accepted by viewers and be successful. The two factors that help in decision making are- script and production house. How the script is translated from paper to screen cannot be predicted.

I have the exact same thoughts
I was watching CC for SI only, but can't keep interest now, i find it very boring
there is no chemistry between leads, and honestly I can't stop comparing SI's acting as Khushi, as CC I am not impressed n its not her fault, its screenplay, bad dialogues, pathetic background music, bad direction..
ppl said it will be interesting after CC gets married and all, but that is all saas bahu drama n that doesn't interest to even 1 bit, so I stopped watching from last Thu

Sanaya wanted to do something other than an epic love story. She wanted to explore a new genre. From the two shows she was offered, she chose this one because the narration was good and it is not a regressive cry fest. The production house is experienced and has made successful shows before. That is all the information any actors has before signing.

She got a role of a sensible, educated girl in a show whose story revolves around her character. So, it is an author backed role and she will be the hero. Most actors want this chance. So, I won't fault her for choosing this soap. She wants to be in TV industry, where the choices are limited and majority of shows are in saas bahu genre.

How episodes turn out is based on team work, she cannot be held responsible. All she can do is act well, and her work is not under scanner, other factors are being criticized.

In case, this show fails, at least she tried something different. Her talent won't diminish, she will come back with something new. Till now she was being criticized for only doing love stories, so now that won't hold true.

Every actor wants to play various characters and try different genres. That is only way to grow, show versatility, and avoid monotony. Some choices work and others do not, but that should not stop them from taking risks. Every actor has worked in films/ shows that did not work.

So, just hoping this show picks up and does well, if not, Sanaya will come in a new role.

I don't feel bad for Sanaya ... I admire her for taking a risk ... but then, she is at the stage of her career when she has been recognised by the industry and she can afford to do so ... and is in a position to do so.

While I would have loved to see her in another love story, it would have been playing safe, and also getting stuck in a rut, which no actor wants to do. There are limited roles available on TV today in terms of genre and type, she is experimenting and there is no harm in that at all. I have seen one thing with Sanaya, she improves herself with every show she does ... CC the character is not really a challenging role for her, yet she is putting a lot of thought into how she plays the role.

If it succeeds, it will be another feather in her cap. If CC fails, she will have tried something new, something different, and she would have had the experience of working with some great actors like Supriya Pathak ... a great learning experience in itself ... and she will bounce back after this with something new.

In the meantime, I am enjoying seeing her as Chhanchhan ... Sanaya being in a show is enough to make me watch it.

I think sony tv is such a bakwas and manhus chennel,it cant meet the viewers demand and dont know why sanaya chose this chennel after star plus.

It's a matter of opinion. Variety of roles adds to her expertise.

It's Sanaya's decision and I respect that, may b show pick up good trps, but I agree that Sony is a manhus channel

My point of view ...A lot of ppl keep saying that she should have been in a star plus show , after saraswatichandra which was launched in feb'2013 , the next show to be launched in star tv is mahabharata . I donot think Sanaya fits in that show atall.
