Poor Manav

Since no one has made an episode post today, I thought I would do it ...

It was Uma Ben's show all the way ... a Machiavellian performance ... she doesn't even take her own husband into confidence, and is fooling him as well as her laadla son. While I HAVE seen mothers like this, who insist their children marry their parents' choice, usually both parents are involved ... or the father is at least supportive. Here Manav's father is also kept ignorant of his own wife's tactics.

The sons again are on their own trip ... their idea of UB's last wishes all center around property and wealth ... they don't seem to be very bothered about her actually copping it 😛

Finally the Sarabhais had the conversation I was waiting for ... where they discuss that they need to meet Manav's family ... since the ChanMan love story is all of three days old, I didn't find it all that belated ... in fact, for a love story, it reached the stage of marriage pretty quick 😛

I felt sorry for Manav ... or rather, I tried to imagine what someone in his place would feel, then I felt sorry for him ... he is really caught between the devil and the deep blue sea ... I don't blame him so much for abandoning Chhanchhan and his love story so quickly ... his mom really left him with no choice ...

So let's see what Manav will do ... or rather, since he seems to have turned into usual Mamma's dikra boy, let's see what Himanshu and Simple do ... they seem to be far more enterprising. Have a feeling Chhanchhan will also play the sacrifice card at first and tell Manav .. jaa Manav ... jee le apni zindagi ... mujhe bhool jaa ...

ah i read u haven't seen KZK. but there the hubby wanted the leads to get married, but had never expressed it in exact words (wife knew as everyone expected it kind of) n he was in coma after accident and mom played the son almost exactly like this and the son gave the girl up..n married the woman mom wanted. she wanted to fast forward so that before hubby woke the son would be married.

so well this scenario is not exactly new..
there also the son was the apple of her eye and she thought she was doing him good (afterwards i am not even gonna say lol as Ekta manages to spoil th elogic of any show, after a little while. but this beginning was wonderful!)

here too i believe UB keeps hubby in dark cz she in her heart knows that he might not support her..she is taking no chances here..

ok u got me.. cz i was trying to wonder how to feel sorry for him!! but ya sure i will think of Anurag n try to remember what happened what, 9 years back? ahh i was a kid then lol..anyway jokes apart it sucks to be where he is today!! period!

hehe i think so. cz obviously what kind of girl will say ok 'let ur mom die if she doesn't like it, let us marry!'
so umm well any sensible (not cruel person) will take this decision..


hmm interesting thought on Simple and Himanshu.. but i was thinking, here for a change for CC's family, CC is the apple of their eyes...and her making this unnecessary sacrifice (as they will feel) they will think that, Manav's mom doesn't know n thus asking this.
they might try to go and talk to UB's family n tell the truth?

i mean they do not know it is UB in the 1st place, n 2nd CC is an amazing person as they themselves know n they believe quite accurately that CC would be a credit to any family she marries in to..
so they might take that initiative which might get UB's hubby's attention to it and make him try to persuade her?
cz she will not be able to play i don't know card afterwards, cz she will have to give a reason as to why she specifically doesn't like Manav's choice!!

I watched the episode with my mom, and we actually laughed through it ... Uma Ben's tactics are so obvious they are funny, and the faces of disgust she makes at her sons' reactions are hilarious. And the sons are getting interesting ... I think the real story will only start once CC somehow gets into that house ... and it will be interesting to watch ... the entire family are good actors and the drama will be light hearted and fun.

The CC family scenes are actually bland in comparison ... they are all too sweet! Need the nautanki of UB and her sons to spice up the proceedings 😛

I am wishing we find out Manav was just a cameo act and the asli hero will enter now...a new character and actor opposite Sanaya

@ bold ... am wishing the same thing ... if the PH was smart, with so little time to find a male lead, this should have been their plan all along ... bring in cameo for the first few weeks while they took their time to audition the real lead ... and then bring in the asli hero with a bang!!!

But Chhanchhan is the real hero of this show ... I don't want anything to overshadow that either. As long as we get more of CC-UB and Borisagar family, I'm okay ... the Borisagar family is interesting and fun to watch.

I agree Diya...i don't want the premise of the show to change too.
