What I am trying to say is Sanaya alone cannot carry a show on her shoulders. Many are telling that she alone is responsible for carrying CC but for me, Supriya has outshone her & the poor writing of CC is not helping either which proves that writing is very important to get the TRPs, not the actors
well maybe ur intention was not that, but it comes out that way cz if u take the times both of they r together and then they get whatever TRPs even then the side characters, writers, directors, spot boys, all of those r still there right?
here people specifically mention her carrying the show is that one constant was missing, and she carried it. if Sanaya got sick and had to rest for 2 weeks n not shoot, Barun would have pulled the show equally well, with the support of everyone.. But the credit would have been his cz when every other show on TV has both leads present if it is a love story, both saas-bahu present if it is a saas bahu show, IPK did manage to stay in the top 10 when one of its 2 most important parts was missing. and it was the caliber of the whole set up that allowed it to stay afloat! this i will again say would have been the same if the situation was interchanged!
and as for Supriya carrying the show, just one question.
if this show had a well known male lead along with Sanaya and they cast an unknown good actress (or someone can somehow pull off the role like Kokila in SNS or Bhabo in DABH) the show would have had the same or more viewership.
BUT if Supriyaji was there and a FK was there and Sanaya wasn't it wouldn't have pulled even half of the viewers in as it does right now!
but lol..i agree that CC writing sucks..
BUT again i disagree that actors if they r good can pull off even bad writing, case in point IPKKND.. honestly do u think the swami track, Gupta house track of blowing hot and cold, etc was well written? hardly! but they were a delight to watch cz of Barun and Sanaya were the ones playing it!
if someone in the boat of FK were to play it, those tracks would not have been bearable let alone enjoyable, which they were actually for most of us!
So here is the thing, writing if one of the most vital parts of a show/story. but good actors can rise above the bad writing and make even the most mundane script look like a winner!
just the same exceptional writing can make a not so talented actor do wonders..
so there has to be at least 1 of the factors present in a show!
