theoretically, if both actors were good then i'm sure their chemistry will be good and will be acting off each others vibesbut comfort levels come in handy when you need to do romantic scenes, or very close ones where touching etc. maybe involved...you would rather a friend (someone who you are comfortable with) touching you rather than a stranger/acquaintance that you rarely talk tooso my opinion after the long paragraph is comfort levels help chemistry but doesn't create it
