His family is in TV industry.His friend is the casting director of CC, he has selected him.Some member said in this forum that PH wants to replace him but channel does't want any replacement.

He mentioned in an interview that the casting director is his friend, and his whole family is involved in the TV industry. Maybe they pulled strings, because if you go by his acting solely- no PH/channel would give any newbie, esp if they're in a lead role, this much time. Esp when you take in to account that most people are not happy with him. He has improved, no doubt, but his improvement is not satisfactory. Other co-stars have complained, either frankly, or in a round-about way about the multiple retakes they have to give. If this had been any other newbie,I'm sure he'd have been replaced by now. Also there's something fishy going on- he doesn't seem to be friendly with anyone on the sets. And the rest of the cast are very friendly people.

Problem is that the people pulling strings to keep him in a job don't seem to realise that because of him (and many other reasons too) there isn't going to be a job left to pull strings for.

I seriously don't think he is getting replaced any time soon ...The way when the news came of his replacment ...He answered very confidently that they are just rumours...

i guess viewers have to get used to see him now...But frankly i am unable to connect to Manav ..thanks to Farhan...

PH shouldn't take the rest of viewers for granted.

I get it. I finally get what giving an expressionless scene looks like. Up to today I thought inconsistency was his only problem and his performance was reasonable to the given writing. But I was proven wrong today. 🤢

Note to the production house: Fix your characterizations before I set my target on you
