Puch puch is catchy.. Chanchann too...sometimes people can't pronounce the full name of the serial... For eg Sanaya s prev show was nicknamed khushi serial in my locality... Chanchann is easy..lol

There are a lot of people who drift towards a show.. ESP if it is saas Bahu... Cos you can pick up the story any time not like love stories... The channel has low viewership anyways .. Only loyal viewers will watch I the beginning... Others will come by slowly

I don't agree with your view on the show but I do respect your right to dislike it. The only thing I will say is that I have faith in Sanaya's choice and I'm sure she was offered many roles and there must be a reason that she chose this one. I'm glad she didn't opt for another love story and choices are limited on Indian TV to pretty much love story or saas-bahu/social msg. As she had just done a love story perhaps this was the best option and we don't know ChhanChhan well enough to know exactly how this will pan out.For me as long as Sanaya is there and performing well then that's really all that matters as after a certain point in her last show I was watching for her alone anyway.

OK I just realised that I butted into a conversation with my views, sorry about that, so I just want to add that i still think presenting your view in a decent way is fine but i do have to admit it does get tiresome when the same people repeat the same negative comments over and over again. I don't think I've come across your post before or if i have i've forgotten and perhaps others response was based on seeing prior posts.. Still if you truly love Sanaya I would urge you to keep more of an open mind about the project she has chosen.

sigh.. i was called 'panchi' with 'a' pronounced as 'cat' n in my mother tongue it meant something like a 'female Mowgli' in jungle book cz i was a kid who live in trees n bushes!!

i am over 20 something and working now and some of my maternal family still call me that!!

childhood nicknames r supposed to be crazy.. u can't pick and choose elegant names!

very well agree with u,, n i really appreciate tht u hav put across ur words politely n objectively,,unlike others,, dear i m myself a huge sanaya fan,, n i would b glad if i m proven wrong,, she already faced so much of criticism for her previous character,, i really wanted her to accept something off beat this time,, n this a wrong assumption tht TV has limited roles to play,, anyways i would not wnt to elaborate,, i wish her all the bst ,, n i m looking forward to JDJ,, coz its the last straw for me.. for the time being,,

My pet name is very bad as well.. I hate it.. 😡 But my friends , My parents even my fianc will call me by that name.. 😡 I decided I don't give any pet names to my children, but after Chanchan , I would love to have a girl n give name as Chanchan ( after marriage 😉)

She decided the name chhanchhan for herself for a reason. Everyone has different likes,if she likes names like CC and puchpuch who r we to criticize that?! The show is not meant to be a love story so I don't think the couple is meant to be the main draw...it's the saas-bahu and ample justice is being done to it. And anyways,non-love stories have always been sensible and realistic,not magical,y r ppl even expecting that?! And ordinary entrance is nothing new for sanz,she had those even in her previous shows,what has entrance to do with silliness! It's just been a week and so many r appreciating it but some ppl just need a reason to complain...one is always free to stop watching it
