I do rue the day when I thought what a lovely turn of events that Supriya Pathak gets to reprise a role made famous by her mom in Khoobsurat. That stern martinet who ruled with an iron hand and this gussied up meanie ---- night and day! There end all the Khoobsurat comparisons. I foresee Supriya Pathak chewing scenery with gusto. No matter how competent she is, it's hard to rise above the material.
I do have one huge peeve - can't desi TV write normal, real characters? š” Jingle and her gang reminded me of Fatty and the 5 Find-outers. All we needed was for Ya # 2 to swing by and say clear-orf! Enid Blyton khush hui - Gah! š
