I am battling with the thought of watching Khoobsurat or not... Has anyone watched it? It would be nice to watch it and then compare the show to the original movie.. I am sure there will be some considerable differences.. Should I or should I not?

If we watch the move then the suspense of the show is lost na ?

I watched the movie, it's nice comedy and family drama by Hrishikesh Mukhrjhi( director) .. Definitely worth watching , if you like Rekha ( actress) you should watch it.. Chanchan's concept is same but movie is different and serial is different..

Have watched it years ago ... it was a very nice movie, with the typical Hrishikesh Mukherjee touch of subtle storytelling in a humorous way, yet getting the message across. The basic premise seems very similar ... but there will be differences because that was a movie, this is a serial. You can watch it if you want, Sonya ... there is nothing you don't know already, and the movie is an enjoyable watch.

The show is inspired form the movie...not totally a copy...many things will be different form the movie.

But it is a very good movie to watch. It won Rekha the best actress award and (I think ) Ashok Kumar the supporting actor award. It is one of my favorite. Have watched a quite a few times.
