"the imposter meets MIL And she asks him whether she blessed Aditi or not. The imposter responded in a very simple manner that she couldn't shower her 'blessings that well as the police interrupted her."great post...I was thinking exactly the same on this line...MIL is my first suspect!!

sorry.. i didn't get you. You want to know which episode Kabir mentions about Ija handling the empire, then giving it to Kabir, is it?

Yeah and when Kabir mentions that Aija is his stepmom, do you have the link? :)

Now suppose he's the one who's giving Ija the inside info and acting on her instructions?

In CSM, none of the characters can be completely trusted. I agree with you, anybody and everybody can come under the radar.
Kabir and Karan are really close, Karan says his loyalty comes from the times when Kabir provided him education and a good place in the business. Like Kabir has been his anna-daata of some sort.

Kabir has been shown to be an emotional person, he confides everything in Karan, he even confessed that he loves Neha...
Their bond on both sides seems really strong, and both of them seem emotionally invested. Unlike other bondings portrayed in CSM, where either one is saccharine sweet or too bitter.

Another Hint, Aija immediately called Dushyant when Gattu's mom (i forgot her name =P) recommended taking his help, before that she was reluctant to involve the police.

It was Dushyant and Aija's conversation which was more like an information exchange rather than a plea of help and their expressions quite intriguing. As Aija addressed herself properly, Dushyant had the 'Now what's this tirade' kind of an expression. Later was An understanding. Dushyant thanked her at the end for this information. Possible reference to Kabir following. Just makes so much sense i feel.

Also last i remember Aija thought of Dushyant to be an annoying person not a capable cop =P

Its the 26th march episode, when Kabir introduces all his family members to Neha, including Ija.
For the stepmum bit, even I don't remember. I thought Ija was Kabir's real mum?

@Chitrashahi

Actually...in my list...Karan could well be the second suspect...envy...jealousy..greed...imagined sense of having been subordinated (a sense which Rishi's words were probably meant to communicate to the audience)...

I have always found him to have a much more menacing presence (which i am sure was the intent)..even in the early days...when Kabir's character had not been fully disclosed...

the question though is...whether he IS the real player or whether he is the accomplice..coz he is perfectly placed to be the accomplice...

@Paisley I too think that Karan could be an accomplice against Kabir. He can't be a major player because he doesn't stand to lose or gain anything.

But with the latest promos my instincts are warning me that it's possible that Neha is the real Aditi, and if so then that would be a real game-changer.
