about emraan

His birth name is Emran Anwar Hashmi, he is born to a Muslim father and Catholic mother. He later changed it to Farhaan Hashmi but recently decided to keep his original name but added an extra "a" as per numerology^{[citation needed]}. He graduated from Sydenham in Mumbai where he majored graphics and animations^{[citation needed]}. He is the nephew of Mahesh Bhatt and is the cousin of the actress turned director Pooja Bhatt. He got married to fiance Parveen Shahani at an elaborate ceremony on Thursday, December 14th, 2005. The reception, was held at a plush hotel in Bandra, Mumbai, and was limited to the family members and close friends of the actor.

Hashmi made his debut in 2003 with the film Footpath however, it did not do well at the box office. He shot to fame with Murder (2004) which was his first hit. His next few films such as Zeher (2005), Kalyug (2005) and Gangster (2006) have done well at the box office and the soundtracks in these respective films have helped create a large fan base. Amusingly, all the songs from his movies have become instant hits. The playback singers for most of his film's songs has been Himesh Reshamiya and Atif Aslam.

Emraan is also famous for his kissing scenes in most of his movies. He has been nicknamed the 'serial kisser'. Emraan also described his first on screen kiss during an interview claiming that he was very nervous and almost opted out of the scene before going ahead and shooting it with the female co-star

😆 i know this is for emraan hashmi fans n u will all kill me n hate me when i say this so sorry...jus i couldnt resist...okies....OMG wat u ppl see in this guy?? seriously i see no actin talents anywhere the only movie that i thought he was decent was Gangster the rest i really thought the movie could go without but ya asides from makin out n givin hit songs he really hasnt accomplished much...sorry if i hurt anyones feelins but i had to say this as i really dont emraan hashmi
