I think that makes sense. They kept Hina and Karan and story continued revolving around Akshara Sr. I am sad that in this generation they don't even show any picture or any memory of Generation 1. Heck their daughter was married in that family.

Hina and RS didn't part on good terms and it's really really sad!

Not just gen 1, they don't even talk about Keerti, Naksh and Krish. She's their daughter, but not one mention about where she's now or how Singhanias are.

RS has been avoiding even the mention of Hina-Karan since their part ended.

They can show nice arranged marriage story too if they develop characters and bonds well. Look at Naksh, Keesh and AkshNav.. they had arranged marriage (even though circumstances were different). And their stories were beautiful and had great potential. I hope Zama Habib develops the story for this gen, at least for the first few months. He's an expert in producing characters who are non-toxic, have great depth and are interesting.
