I haven't watched the movie but the song is a cry-fest on platter! 🥺

I think this song deserves it's own post.

This is a overwhelming composition, Madan Mohan as MD, Kaifi Azmi as the Lyricist but above all this is probably one of those numbers sung by four different singers, with four different voices and giving something so magical that I can't believe the existence of this.

Four maestros Rafi-Talat-Bhupinder-Manna Dey coming together and conflating their voices in one song!

They all had distinct voices but you never feel absurd about the number of voices, you don't even notice it.

Haqeeqat is Kaifi Azmi-Madan Mohan's another achievement. This duo. ❤️

My father introduced me to this song years ago, almost crying at the lyrics and the number playing in front of him, singing along so well - and I have never gotten over!
