I do think they are making Abhimanyu into a Kartik. Abhimanyu started off as his own character. It was way way different from Kartik. And if they had maintained that consistency, it would have been decent. But after the confession, they were attempting to make AbhiRa into a Kaira. Like austen said, they know just one way of writing romantic scenes. Mid 30s wala doctor kaise romance karega pata hi nahi hai inko..Otherwise why would they show him blushing like a school boy for a kiss? 🤔 Wo bhi cheek pe kiss..

You're right Eka, Abhimanyu was his character even during bad wale jija ji phase..it was post confession when the writers realized that they've hit a mental roadblock and all the recycling started.
