I get your pov. I really loved that part too cos dancing is one of his main hobbies and he loves rain a lot, so celebrating what you love with hobby, that they wanted to show. Plus as you said I liked the different thing, ML dancing for a change.

Well, abhi to bas GSMI dekh rahe hain. And it's also the beginning. But I liked certain portions, even made two separate posts on it in their forum. If you are interested, we can talk about these plots like - platonic friendship and all. 😎

Rest, I just started Season 4 of The Good Doctor. And even though I love it, I do have some ranting to do. 😛

You know, how we keep complaining that there should be enough development and one shouldn't rush through the plots.

I am gonna be completely honest, the reason I started watching the show was mainly because I came across some clips of Shaun and Lea.

It's another fact that the ensemble cast and its distinction from other typical medical shows made it worthwhile.

But now that I've started Season 4, I'm feeling the makers have rushed the romantic angle.

Season 3 was basically about the love triangle and how Shaun realizes he can't get over Lea no matter what. But there's no continuity. I mean, In the first season we saw he had a special corner for her, then in the 2nd season even though he agreed to Lea's request that they should only be friends, he was visibly upset with Lea's boyfriend and he admitted it.

The season finale was awesome considering he went on a date with Carly and one could see Lea too felt heartbroken.

But then in Season 3, Lea was quite comfortable and Shaun actually started feeling a bit toxic. Like I know, he has autism and he didn't mean to be rude to anyone intentionally but in many instances, he came across as rude and demanding while Carly was being really patient. And then out of the blue, he became insensitive to Lea as well, for episodes, we have no clue what's going on between them and suddenly they dropped the bomb that they are in love.

I would still say, the confession scene would make me giggle every time no matter what but I can't help feeling weird about the narration.

You have summed up everything well, this seems weird, from s3. Also even if it's lead, toxic is toxic and narration is important and it should fit. Flow is important and rushed confessions are worst.

Otherwise it just seems out of blue and a misfit.

Btw you know I had quit Meet ages back, but PH doing forced tragic is sick. Got to know yaha bhi jabardasti separation of leads and kid.. Out of blue villain sis comes and blackmails her sis and takes their baby away..

I love it when they make it clear that they don't consider him less because of his autism but they too are human and not always they can be patient and Shaun has to consider others' feelings as well.

About the confession, FD is divided because some loved it and some as I felt it was rushed. 🤪

As far as I know, there has been tremendous growth in S4 which I'd say a bit unrealistic considering Sahaun's difficulty to cope up with newer challenges. But I guess, they had to introduce something intense considering the 4th season came right after the pandemic and people needed something positive.

Let me complete the 4th Season first. 😎 Then we'll be able to rant more properly. 😛
