Was the original music team involved in the remake of the OST? As in the composer and lyricist? If they were then its not injustice because the makers got the original team to remake it. Ye toh izzat dena hua. Bollywood mein toh bina bataye kar dete hai...intellectual property rights hone ke baad bhi label apne aap ko bhagwaan samajhta hai.

But agar OG team involved nahi hai toh phir badi bezatti hai.

Hype toh mujhe bhi samajh nahi aayi. Usme 2 billion views jaisa kya tha 🤣

MPTH ka hota toh main samajhti, voh genuinely ek fab product tha, pura ka pura show, from writing to direction to acting was brilliant.

About the Lapata bit..

In my opinion, i found Ayeza's performance good, cuz i always felt that thats how most of the tiktokers across the border, come across 😆 game show mein bi dekhlo 🤣

Toh mujhe woh character bahut natural laga aur tuska performance bhi 😆

So at no point i felt it was ott or some ott version of meenu. Lol

In fact even i didn't watch the show, clips here and there and from what i read. 😆

Correct me if i am wrong. Cuz even i dont remember now, filmfare awards are of the past. I mean we all used to make it a big deal 10 years back. Even then it was not like it was sachey awards or anything, but still had some reputation.

Filmfare ki toh pehle magazine ke thru voting hoti thi, ballot aata tha and people would fill their votes and mail it to FF. Baad mein online ho gaya.

Coz afaik, Critics matlab critically acclaimed films that may/may not have done well jiske winners jury decide karti hai. And popular matlab the films that were hits, uski voting hoti hai.

I have no idea, itni research nahi ki🤣 They just kept the original OST and added Rahats parts to it. But the composition of Rahats parts felt completely different and out of tune from the original parts. Go listen to them.

Female tiktokers dumb hote hai 😆 Look at the GS girls only, and India mein Takatak wale ladkiyan 😆

They don't behave like they're in an Ekta Kapoor show all the time 😆

That's why it felt off to me.

She did perform well in certain scenes though.

The show was pretty much a let down, I thought kuch bahot bada top hoga...fuski nikla 🤣

There are awards with best actor critics and best actor popular. Just because popular hai doesn't mean voting honi chahiye to determine that, popular can also be given by the organisors themselves based on the perception there is among the public.
