On a side note, I was watching another episodic of the reel couple. And they have a song called "Pori Tui Hoili Na Amar". I think the closest translation would be, "Pari Tum Mere Na Hue" since the protagonist's name was Pori (Pari in Hindi)

And I was like, not Pori!

Honestly speaking, agar MHRW ke last month mein full blown clownery dekhne ko nahi mili hoti to I would have laughed out if the MV would have given some memeworthy content. But since I have still not recovered from that clownery, I don't think I can digest another round of clownery.

Naah aisa kuch nahi hai... I mean I haven't watched the entire IV till now but from the updates, there is no leg pulling or fun comments from either one. I watched for the first few minutes only and I ended up laughing because Sai has shaved his beard and moustache completely. I mean I shouldn't comment on looks and all but the moment the live began and I caught a glimpse of his look, I couldn't contain my laughter.

About worried... Well, reports are going around that Gashmeer is quitting Imlie and Sai (and a couple other actors) have been approached for it. Plus Gul's Director/DOP/whatever Abbas Ratansi has started following him recently. And the fans are correlating his clean shaven look with the look test for that show. So, just like I was worried about Niyati and Shivangi's articles about Naagin6, I am worried about this one too.

The bitter truth is, the market for Episodics is not so wide in ITV and at the end of the day crap sells. Ab commercial offers bhi to accept karni padhti hain actors ko. To hum kya hi keh sakte hain. 😒

I agree completely with you here... From the trp statistical point of view, crap shows are actually fetching trps. Plus we don't get good shows like Beyhadh or other similar ones on a regular basis... and those which are made, rarely fetch high trps. So, at the end of the day, they will have to work in similar shows.

Now my apprehension... I am not exactly sad a lot about this news. I mean just like I said above, sensible shows to mushkil se milte hain, aise shows hi milenge. Its just that since I have watched his first hindi show, I wanted to watch his second show too... or at least a few episodes of it (if the show is not one of my taste). But with Imlie, I couldn't sit through the initial episodes despite the fact that I really wanted to watch Gashmeer that I won't be watching it even for him (if he actually gets cast).

Btw, the motion poster of their MV released just now... Ab dekhte hain MV mein kya milta hai. Keeping my fingers crossed...

Like I said for Naagin6 when the news of Niyati being cast come out and for Kuch Toh Hai too, "I might at least watch the promo and then decide whether I should watch or not" and in case of KTH, I did watch the promo and followed the show through your updates.

But I can NOT say the same for Imlie. I didn't keep a track of the show back then also and I surely can not (and will not) follow it now also because I simply cannot bear with it. So, if he is indeed cast in the show, it would be sorta saddening for me. (Baaki I'll definitely wish him luck...)
