One round of MF tells me that majority of the people there don't like Raghav loving Pallavi. I really don't know why they can't or won't see what Pallavi did for Raghav. I am not saying Raghav is any less of a lover than Pallavi is or anything like that but Pallavi bought a sense of stability and calmness into Raghav's life. Same way Raghav encouraged Pallavi to be free and relieved her of undue expectations.
Both have helped the other heal and now they are in love with each other because that is how love happens isn't it. I don't understand why is it difficult for some viewers to understand that for Raghav it doesn't matter if Pallavi is not rich and for Pallavi it doesn't matter what Raghav did with her earlier because she has chosen to forgive him for everything.
1000000% agreee.
I'm about to rant right now. LOL not at you, but just about this issue in general:
I think it's the classic case of people inserting themselves into the characters.
I'm always up for discussions of the episodes with a 'real world' lens because we're viewers who live in the real world- so we'll connect/disconnect with the characters/plot based on our own life experiences. Not everything can be explained away with "it's ITV" because then we wouldn't be so annoyed at the possible redemption of Keerti which will prob occur later in the show (bc it's ITV - get what I did there LOL).
However, there also comes a point when watching a show to put everything in the box and be like, well this is just how the story is going - so either accept it and move on, or just quit the show if what is happening is not to their liking.
I'm even someone who will have no issues criticizing the characters or plot if I don't like what's happening but eventually one has to accept that the audience, the individual viewer, is not the writer of the show. We cannot dictate how the characters will react.
IMO especially with the whole Pallavi mistakes / sorry to Raghav situation - like, it's clear that Raghav DOES NOT CAREEEEE anymore. We cannot advocate for someones behalf (reel or real) if they don't care about the issue themselves. Like why is that so hard for everyone to understand? I also wanted a better apology and even a better inner monologue (like her scene with Aayi), but it didn't happen, so what? Her behavior is making up for her past missteps. Just like Raghav's did. The characters don't need it for their growth or for their plot, so why are people so hellbent over it?
I actually read this on one the episode analysis for day before's episode - they did say something that I agreed on, I think she approached it from a diff perspective, but regardless, she basically questioned - why can't a female lead also be flawed? If all these fans can accept Raghav's flaws (of which he has many) and his attempt at curbing his flaws/ correcting his behavior, without so much as a sorry for every wrong he's done to Pallavi, why can't they accept the same for FL? Why does she need to be the one who verbally apologizes?
Like I'm not even sure what people want anymore?
