This is from the 1971 movie Door Ka Raahi which has Kishore Kumar all the way: as hero, as music director, as singer, as producer, director and story-writer. I was so fascinated by the fact that when given a chance, he didn’t opt to make a commercial movie but the movie that would give expression to his inner voice, that I saw it recently on my computer.

Lyrics are by A Irshad and the song describes the idea behind the entire movie.
