A wonderful team work. In the present or future, this type of movie we can't expect because such legendary actors are not available!

Inspired by movement of Late Vinoba Bhave regarding surrender of Chambal Dacaits , this is the story of simple man walking in to dacait camp , falling in love with heroine and changing heart of gang leading to surrender.

Have literally been listening to/watching this in repeat mode for last few days.

One can feel the pain in Rafi saab's voice just by listening to it! And the way Dilip Kumar has acted, gives goosebumps. The lyrics and the music pieces in between are top notch. Dilip Kumar had many masterpieces with other singers too, but him with Rafi he makes a golden combination for me.

This song is why paeans have been written and spoken about Rafi’s ability to adapt his voice to suit the mood and the actor. Listen to Jangal mein mor nacha from the same movie. It’s hard to tell the same person sings both songs!

And yes I agree, Rafi brings that special something to DK on screen. But I also love Talat’s voice for him. He’s sung some incredible songs for DK.

Meena Kumari and Dilip Kumar were the perfect combination of acting talent and grace. Probably, she got her eyes from her mother's side because she was a Bengali, and he knows how to make his screen presence felt whenever he acted with highly talented actresses!

Meena kumari has carried the dance with such grace with pleasing movements and facial expressions!

Especially the naughty looks in starting steps. It looks like she has enjoyed the sequence, really.
