It does seem so. In the pilot episode itself they showed so many things which had Nazar written all over it. And of course, the reasoning behind mutation. For once I actually liked it that they copy pasted the concept from TVD and here the explanation fits perfectly.

Problem is, an abomination whose weakness would be blood - one can even show a half-demon entity. Why vampire? And those fake canines are way too much! Not to mention they actually play a lion's roaring whenever his teeth comes out.

Other than that, it seemed like EDV is paired with an angel in an alternate universe. 🤪

About siblings - totally. The bond seemed really good like the ML is adopted and his adopted father and one of the sister's know he's different. So the boy is himself in front of her and they keep playing & pulling each other's legs. That was fun. 👍🏼 Plus the actress is really beautiful and she acts well. 👍🏼

I mainly watched the second episode for that butterfly sequence cause you know, how much I love nature & such sequence.

Rest I have a horrible record of watching literal crap for my favorites. Yaha to phir bhi dono hi mere favorite hain. 🤭 Otherwise, it's a mess with so many side characters & unnecessary VFX and snakes and all. 😖😖😖

So I am gonna super FF and watch Krishna & Harsh's scene.

And had to tell this but that forum is even more annoying than AL. Matlab Harsh isn't good but Vivian was great! I wanted to smack them in Mo's style. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Well, I am hopeful that they are gonna show the scene tomorrow or the day after that. Because in today's precap itself Abrar was suspicious of Uday. So let's hope for the best. 🤓🤓🤓

Seriously yaar! And frankly, after their weird ranting I am beginning to think if we were equally annoying when AL started. At least we appreciated the acting when it was due. PKYEK was itself a cheap copy of Twilight & TVD. So I get why people have problem with the copying.

But then again - acting is bad, FL looks older, why Rehan's character is not like Abhay. Matlab, why should every vampire behave in the same way?

TBH, a lot of my favorites too weren't that good when they debuted. But eventually they improved. VD for me comes under the group who hasn't improved by a bit yet gets hailed for God knows what reason!

I have liked pkyek at points or till a point but I always move on, and the whole exaggeration of any show goes beyond me, ki only these two can act, etc. Fir ipk ho ya koi aur, it's plain irritating. Like VD nahi hai, toh mat dekho na show.

Also a character can be played by many actors, toh ye nonsense. I rarely tell but I had come across Barun's iv where he was asked ASR of ipk was an iconic character, and stuff. So do you think, there is any other person who can play that or act well? You know what he said, I really appreciate him cos very few people can have the guts to say it. He was like, definitely! Hundreds of people can play the character and can act and have talent.

So ye jo logon ka hai, na ki oh it's vampire toh only VD should be cast, is plain bullshit! It's Ekta's show and she has the right to decide.

VD aur discussion nahi karna mujhe cos it's something like you can't like everyone, but he would have done certain good stuff or acting later. Toh it's okay to not like him. All have different favs but ppl mess a lot.

Read that Harsh had to shred 10kgs to look younger so may be it would be better if Krishna lost a little weight but then again wouldn't the producer ask her if it was required? To itna kya hain? No offence but even Sharad or Surbhi didn't look like 15+ in the last season. Makeup/getup has a lot to do with how they look on screen. So yeh kya preconceived notion hain ki woh lead nahi ban sakti?

From what I have seen so far, they do have good enough chemistry. Plus, one thing I would definitely appreciate is that the leads are pretty confident about their powers. Like they actually competed with each other in the 3rd episode & noticed the change around them, tried to find the reason.

I am beginning to think we had our phooti kismat only in Nazar where leads were guilt tripped about their powers & those morons felt burdened by it.

I just came across, when kudca ki casting hui thi maybe last year, few fans were like it's going to be totally wrong to cast Anchal cos she is very young, won't suit and all and just see now Vashma slaying.

Like without show starting, how can you just bash?!

I mean directors and team experiment and do a lot of research. Toh ye log..

On a side note I came across Shagun's insta post, and he had written an essay on how the director and the assistant director gets the best out of the cast, and him, which he wouldn't have expected to come and gave all credit to them. It was so awesome to see that, warna toh aaj kal most actors seem to have this whole attitude ki hum hi stars hai, due credit bhi nahi dete. Kudca cast, really seems good that way! Giving credits, Gracy had also mentioned how the whole team, directors and other cast members helped her in scenes.

One thing we have to agree, Ekta never goes wrong in pairing and chemistry! It's good they have. That's good about powers.

Nazar part, I have to agree with you. Cos baki har show me, people who had powers were super happy about that, used them well, knew their responsibility. Aise rote nahi baithte pagal jaise.
